    Extremely smooth transition from previous software. Easy for staff to adopt with minimal resistance. Powerful email search functionality. Keeps inboxes organised and clutter-free. Trial phase helped build confidence across the team.
    Cons:
    Lacks the ability to search across all project folder files on the server (only searches emails). Only works with Classic Outlook, not New Outlook.

    Unique Solution That Solved a Major Problem Effortlessly

    Mail Manager has been a definite benefit to our company. It helps capture a lot of business and project information transmitted via email, which we otherwise wouldn't have access too. It's certainly helped lower our business risk.

    It solves a huge problem that we have, and didn't know that such a product existed for years. I've not seen anything like it since either, so it's a unique solution.
    Cons:
    It would be nice to have the ability to create new spaces within Sharepoint directly via Outlook, rather than having to add it separately. It may also then help reduce the need to run discover file locations so often.

    The principal loved it to organize the emails and file them to the server by projects and personal filing space.
    Cons:
    Customer servier is not good. They ask you to lock into 2 years contract and is very unflexable when the team shrinks and when need to reduce seats. The terms and conditions are very unfrendly and preditor like.

    Easy to use and excellent company to work with!

    The team at Ideagen made the sales and on-boarding experience a breeze. Their support team is very helpful, as well. Overall, we've had a very good experience with Mail Manager.

    Mail Manager gave us an easy way to export emails from Outlook into our project folders. This helps us keep project related data together in one place and makes searching for information much easier!
    Cons:
    While they're working on a release date, the lack of support for the new version of Outlook is keeping our users from using it and the web version.

    The perfect fit for our custom 365 solution

    We were exploring options for a case management system for our in house team, and all the major providers seemed too overkill for our needs. We decided to go with a Sharepoint solution, with Oneplace used to integrate our emails into the Sharepoint file structure. This required some initial legwork, but now the system works for us. Oneplace plays a big part in that.

    Oneplace allows us to save emails easily from Outlook straight into our case management system (we are a stretched in house team). Oneplace does not require any upkeep or admin. I have not changed its configuration in many months.
    Cons:
    It can occasionally be a little slow to load our Sharepoint file structure. It also lacks the ability to save emails and attachments simultaneously as separate files.

    Valuable software to help with integrating SharePoint into your environment

    OnePlace is great at providing additional integration features for MS Office and SharePoint. We use the OnePlace Mail Outlook add-in every day to manage uploading emails to SharePoint. The few times i've had to deal with support I have found them responsive and easy to deal with. The platform is also flexible and can be easily adapted to your environment.
    Cons:
    Some of the features in OnePlaceMail could be improved. The upload feature works very well but the ability to browse emails stored in SharePoint from within Outlook is not well implemented, rather than allowing you to browse using Outlook natively, it simply opens OnePlace within the Outlook window which reduces usability. Not a deal breaker by anymeans but could be a killer feature for us if implementation were better. We also at times experience a bug where the OnePlaceMail add-in stops working. This requires us to delete the OnePlaceMail config file for the Outlook add-in to work. A minor issue that is infrequent and easy to fix.

    Mail Manager is outdated and the customer service is awful

    The software does not work and their customer service is awful. We have many employees who are unable to use this software. We asked to cancel as we are paying for a service we cannot use and they have auto-renewed into another 2-year term. Definitely do choose mail manager. There are many other companies you can use!

    The ease of storing emails, keeping exchange server clean, It's AI ability to not keep duplicates when two or more people save the same email thread. It's ability to keep just one. The search features to help find an email(s) related to a specific topic. The list goes on. This software is absolutely amazing
    Cons:
    Can't say I really found anything negative about it yet.

    Reasons for choosing Ideagen Mail Manager

    One Drive, Office 365 need some work. Not very friendly, not really shareable with outside sources. One Drive, Sharepoint and 365 need to make things more user friendly.

    Reasons for switching to Ideagen Mail Manager

    We have been storing our emails as PST's on our server, but 2 or more of us could be storing the same email, same attachments, each in our own PST folder. That was using up a lot of space. This software will take the multiple emails and just keep one that is accessable to all.

    -Sometimes configuration takes longer to take effect after initial installation.
