About Publer

Publer is a social media management software designed to help businesses manage content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google My Business, YouTube, and WordPress.

The platform enables users to add watermarks to images and videos to secure content and establish brand identity with the audience.

Publer includes auto-scheduling functionality, which allows marketers to automate posting on multiple social channels using predefined time slots and add tags to categorize the content. It offers a variety of features including comments scheduling, custom signatures, bulk scheduling, history tracking, post recycling, hashtag suggestions, link shortening, preview, and more.
Additionally, administrators can create teams, add members, and define role-based permissions to collaborate on projects.

Publer lets managers gain insights into published, scheduled, or failed posts, followers, content engagement, trending posts, and more via graphs and analytics. It is available for free and monthly, quarterly, bi-monthly or annual subscriptions. Support is extended via various online measures.

Reliable, easy to integrate, and a great upgrade from existing solution

My experience with Publer has been excellent. The platform is reliable, the API is well designed, and integrating it into my automated posting system was very straightforward. Everything works consistently, the posting limits are generous, and the workflow feels smooth and modern. It also costs slightly less than what I was paying before, which makes the switch even more worthwhile. Publer has quickly become a tool I trust for daily automated publishing across multiple accounts.

Pros:

The API is excellent — clear, reliable, and very easy to integrate into automated workflows. Switching was seamless, and everything works exactly as expected. Posting limits are also much more flexible than what I was used to.

Cons:

Nothing major. I haven’t run into any limitations so far, and the platform has handled everything I’ve needed without issues.

Lots of Features and Price Levels

I love Publer, bottom line. I have used a lot of social schedulers, but Publer remains as one of my top preferred scheduler and the only one I find enough value in to pay for monthly.

Pros:

I love that even with a free account, you can schedule Google My Business posts. I have not found this to be the case with any comparable product at the time of this review. On paid accounts, users can link their Canva and Crello accounts for quickly scheduling posts. All account levels also have access to a free bio link, which is a necessity for Instagram these days. And the few time I have needed their customer service, the response time has always be faster than expected and my issues solved seemingly immediately.

Cons:

Currently my only complaint is there is no mobile app, though it is a highly requested feature, so I am sure one will be available soon.

Room to grow

We purchased a lifetime deal not really expecting much from the software. We have started integrating Publer into our workflow as the developers work to improve the software. I think anyone looking for this type of software should put Publer on their shortlist.

I think Publer's user interface is the most intuitive of the software in its space. It was easy to learn and navigation is swift.

Cons:

Publer's analytics and reporting is currently very basic. It lacks many of the deeper features offered by competitors in their space. We know this is an area they are working on and are looking forward to seeing where they go with it.

Publer offered a lifetime deal which was the genesis of our change. The thought of having Hootsuite type features with no monthly fee seemed like a no-brainer for our company.

Publer is an upgrade over your current social scheduling platform

Publer does a great job of anticipating needs and work uses so they most likely already have the features you're looking for. I've been impressed with their ingenuity and user experience in using the platform.

I really like the ability to schedule things in advance, know when/where/what is being published, and the ability to proactively schedule follow up posts when they hit certain criteria.

Cons:

Setting posting schedules for multiple channels is always time consuming and difficult, but Publer streamlined this so I can copy/paste from another channel, so it wasn't nearly as bad.

I wasn't able to select the product we switched from, it wasn't an option. We switched from MeetEdgar because it was becoming increasingly harder to navigate how to schedule efficiently between multiple platforms.

Pros:

The API key that enables me to auto post listings to my social media account. This helps save a lot of time for me rather than having to manually post each listing.

Cons:

The cost - I wish that the API key part could be included in the basic plan. I used to use Buffer, and it was free on there.

Genuinely easy to use post scheduler

Really great. Really easy to use and set up. Just link your LinkedIn and you can schedule posts and then add accounts as and when you wish.

Pros:

Really quick and easy to learn. It's extremely easy to use and get your first posts published. I am still on the free plan although the price for 1 account on the paid plan looks pretty reasonable.

Cons:

The idea generation Kanban board. I haven't really used it and I am not sure I see the value in it however this is in no way a dealbreaker and is just a value add for people.
