About American Well

American Well is a cloud-based telemedicine management solution designed for practices of all sizes. Primary features include a customizable telehealth application, doctor scheduling, multiway video, real-time patient data, mobile messaging, medical-history access, patient records and patient self-scheduling.

Other features include pre-visit review, post-review wrap up, a virtual waiting room and photo viewing. The Ask-Me module allows patients to connect with doctors without an appointment. Patients can file for reimbursements and handle medical claims.

Android and iOS mobile applications are offered. A virtual kiosk can be installed in a workplace, retail outlet or a community center which allows patients to receive a face-to-face consultations. The software also offers integration with electronic medical record (EMR) software, Surescripts, Apple Health, Google Maps and more.

Support is offered via email and over a phone. Other support options include FAQs, online care groups and an online resource center.
