I especially like the crossover feature where you can find diagnosis codes that go with CPT codes.

I feel the cost is very high for individual subscribers, I love codify but I have considered dropping to a cheaper plan.

Pros:

CCI edits, LCD lookup. the option to customize the page to your liking

Cons:

not enough description of the ICD 10 codes. I would like the definitions to look like the ICD 10 book as it's easy to follow. LCDs are not current. All publications should be available to view. never able to find updated coding clinic guidelines.

Pros:

Code lookup tool as well as being able to see if codes can be billed together with or without a modifier! I love the additional information Codify provides on codes, it's like having all of your reference books in one easy to use program!

Cons:

I wish we could use codify as an app and could use without internet access(knowing that all features may not be available without internet)

Codify

This is product is good, I will be working with it more this year than I did last year. I have been a certified coder for 19 years and have worked with several types of software over the years so I am sure eventually I will learn how to maximize my use of it.

Pros:

I like the E&M calculator it makes the coding super easy and 99% error proof.

Cons:

There needs to be training set up for people who purchase the product. I think people would get more use out of there purchase if they new how to use all the capabilities. I bought my subscription when COVID started so there was very limited assistance with it. I was told to watch videos on You Tube and look at the help information attached in the different areas. There was no customer service help line to reach out to.

Pros:

The many tools and resources it has to the lay person to understand.

Cons:

When using the EM Calculator you are not able to manually enter the DOS and have to be left clicking to get to a prior years DOS. This makes it very cumbersome.

Since the moment I was introduce to this tool many years ago I do not use any other, because it contains all the resources and links to all my coding needs.

I love how I can make my dashboard to my liking and have the search functions as I need them.

Cons:

What I liked least was I didn't get enough training on Codify when it was 1st implemented by our company, but on my off days, I figured it out.

ICD 10 and CPT lookup is helpful when using the key word search tool. I like how it shows changes/updates to what is being searched.

Cons:

It would be nice to have a link to the actual manuals.
