The very easy to use system. It wasn’t hard to catch on either.

Cons:

The constant hiccups with the system and the rate at it moving slowly at times

Kipu is a good system!

For me as an admin person, I really love Kipu. I love the ability to create and edit my own forms. I loved that I was able to learn a lot on the back end.

Pros:

I like how I was able to build or edit my own forms. I love the chat feature. I like how the nurses can order and send prescriptions within the the same place. I love the dashboard and the filters on the side bar.

Cons:

No cons for me at this moment. I know billing and other departments have some issues within the system.

Reasons for switching to Kipu

More options and tools to use. Better layout.

I love that it is all in one place if I search a client I can see whom and what happened last.

Cons:

I would appreciate better notifications and less issues internally, bugs etc. they do fix them quickly

Kipu, A work in progress

Pretty useful for keeping everything easy to access. Still has bugs that need worked out. From what I've seen it is the best out there for what we need as a company.

User friendly. A lot of options to keep everything organized. Very good about selecting whom has access to what. Live how it saves every time I input something.

Cons:

Bugs. At least a couple times a week it lags really bad. Randomly it will fail to open files. Closes out of nowhere from time to time.

As an RN of 35 years I have used many systems for charting. I have found Kipu to be efficient, simple and timely. I highly recommend to any health care organization

Cons:

I frequently have to reset my password and I get frustrated

KIPU IS VERY EXPENSIVE FOR NO REASON

They are too commercial . They just want your money . No need to pay $560 for maintenance and more daily charges whereas you can get very good platforms at 10 percent KIPU price

The are friendly when you are signing up

Cons:

VERY PRICEY ! Stay away . When you need your records for an audit they will not allow you to access them if you don’t have an active account ! There is other systems that do the same thing at 10% the price

I thought they were pocket friendly, only to find out they are about the $$

Very easy to learn

Our whole company switched around Christmas and we were worried it would be a disaster but everyone learned it quickly. Passing meds and charting is so much easier, we used to keep track of meds on paper and this is preferable.

Our whole dept learned it quickly and it is much more streamlined and user friendly than Netsmart.

Cons:

Sometimes you need to click in and out of things to get something done but really it's not that big of a deal.

Reasons for switching to Kipu

Our company outgrew Netsmart and we were having trouble with billing.
