SchoolPass 2026: Benefits, Features & Pricing

It has been a change to how we dismiss our students but worth it.

SchoolPass is something that we use widely. From parents, to teachers, to administrators, it seems that everyone is able to learn how to utilize the app very quickly without much confusion. This is not the case for most technology we use, and SchoolPass is exceptional in that its adoption is so user-friendly for newcomers to our organization.

While ultimately the product is probably better than doing things manually, I wouldn't say it has saved us much in the way of time or work, but simply shifted the same amount of work to something that is more trackable and reportable, which, while beneficial, isn't the entirety of what we were expecting from the product . I do think if there is more development work put into it, that SchoolPass' quality will be more fully realized at some point in the future, which is my hope. While I have only dealt with primarily one rep, he does seem willing to help, it's just that for many of these details or issues there aren't really answers to provide or solutions to offer. It simply is the way that it is and we have to work with it. I do think this is a very expensive SAAS offering for what it does currently. If you're considering using it, I'd definitely make sure that the SIS you use is FULLY supported and weigh the cost vs time savings here because so far for us, I'm not confident in saying that the time savings/workflow optimization has been realized enough to justify the cost of the product. I'm cautiously hopeful that as the product is developed that balance will be achieved.

Really enjoy using it, as we have seen a difference in the schools relationship with families. As well as monitoring those who are coming in and out of the building with is VERY important when it comes to keeping children safe.

We employed 2 employees to listen to carpool change messages all day long. After installing the SchoolPass system, we cut this to 1 employee performing carpool a total of 15 minutes a day. Dismissal is more quiet and organized and makes the end of day carpool a much more efficient and enjoyable experience.

SchoolPass gave us easy access to dismissal information that any employee can look up. We are much more organized during the day preparing for dismissal rather than frantically dealing with late in the day changes by parents calling in. Parents make their own changes ... huge time saver for us. Thank you SchoolPass.

School Pass solved our difficulties tracking students and completely and easily solved our problems with student dismissals/car riders, by making the process seamless. Real time tracking reduced car lines and allowed students to stay in the classroom longer. Safety issues in the afternoons were greatly reduced!

Our school had a manual dismissal process prior to School Pass. Our dismissal required paper record keeping, walkie talkies, and too many employees to support carpool. Majority of our carpool process is now automated and archived using School Pass. As Director of Operations, I use School Pass as an additional security measure to screen and track vehicles entering our site. School Pass is a powerful software that truly enhances school operations.
