My team thoroughly evaluated 8 other resume parsers before we selected Affinda. (Actually, our application was in production using a different vendor's parser before we discovered Affinda. When our contract with the other vendor was coming due, we chose to switch to Affinda rather than renew.) Although Affinda's parsing results were significantly more accurate than our previous vendor, that wasn't the driving factor to make us change. (It would have been a more substantial factor if we did not already have our solution implemented. But we were aware of the vulnerabilities in our previous vendor's capability, and had already incorporated defensive logic into our application to mitigate the other vendor's inaccuracies.) Instead, the driving factor was the Affinda team. The people there are wonderful to work with. They can rapidly roll out changes. Several of my suggestions were reflected in their production product within 2 weeks of when I provided the feedback.

The documentation isn't as extensive as some of the competition. (I think they've expanded the documentation after I did my implementation.) Despite that, it was still very easy to get a sample API client up and running.

The most important feature of Affinda's data parser for our use case, is to pick up diverse sets of data points consistently and accurately across various structured/ unstructured CV's. We are able to use these data points as input for our internal diversity analytics models as well as remove sensitive data points from users view to ensure bias-free screening.

One data points we have seen lower accuracy in is school / education, which in some cases is misclassified. We have confidence with further training this can easily be improved over time. And this is still better than we've seen with some other solutions.

The resumé redactor is extremely intuitive and works as expected. You can remove specific elements of a CV to meet the hiring requirements of your team or organization. Customer service was also excellent from start to finish and all questions were promptly met with an answer.

No cons I can speak to, the team walked us through exactly what to expect and delivered promptly.
