Pros:

The overall easy use, even for participants who are not familiarised with online collaboration tools. Covers all the common needs I expect from a visual collaboration tool and still gets better with new features!

Cons:

I would like to have different font sizes and bold/not bold on one post-it (e.g. for titles in bold to stick out from the running text ).

Im dynamischen Duo immer dabei

Wir machen Live-Online-Trainings und virtuelle oder hybride Workshops. Als virtuelles Whiteboard verwenden wir Conceptboard, in Kombination mit einer Meeting-Softwarelösung (bei uns in der Regel MS Teams). Und das ist das dynamische Duo: Meeting-Software plus virtuelles Whiteboard. Auf unseren Boards sind Inhalte, Arbeitsbereiche, Versammlungsorte, Links zu anderen Bereichen auf dem Board oder nach außen (ins Internet oder Kunden-Intranet). Alles auf einer Oberfläche, und für alle Beteiligten zugänglich im Browser. Conceptboard ermöglicht es, die im Präsenten gewohnte Interaktion im Virtuellen so umzusetzen, dass die Teilnehmenden engagiert sind und bleiben, und die Veranstaltung ein Erlebnis ist. Es ist auch wichtig, dass wir Phasen der synchronen und der asynchronen Zusammenarbeit haben. Zum Beispiel eignet sich Conceptboard, um mit dem Kunden zusammen ein Workshop-Konzept zu erarbeiten.

Pros:

Die Bedienung von Conceptboard ist sehr schnell zu lernen. Das ist wichtig für unsere Veranstaltungen, da einige der Teilnehmenden noch nicht mit einem virtuellen Whiteboard gearbeitet haben. Wir geben also immer eine kurze Einführung in die benötigten Tools. Zentral sind natürlich die Sticky Notes. Wenn die Teilnehmenden mit Sticky Notes arbeiten können und sich auf dem Board bewegen können, dann kann man bereits loslegen.

Cons:

Conceptboard kommt mit einigen Features später als der Wettbewerb, zum Beispiel bei dem Timer und bei der Voting-Funktion, die man in ähnlicher Form von anderen Tools bereits kannte. Aber die Lösung wird weiter entwickelt und es kommen sicher noch weitere Features dazu. Ganz oben auf meiner Wunschliste: Die Möglichkeit, Boards auch in eine dedizierte Instanz hinein zu teilen.

Unser Retter zu Zeiten von Corona

Conceptboard ist das Tool für unsere Zusammenarbeit geworden und hat uns ein ganz neues Arbeitsgefühl ermöglicht. Sowohl innerhalb unseres Teams, als auch mit unseren Kunde. Auch wenn wir uns nun wieder vermehrt im Büro treffen, nutzen wir in Meetings weiterhin Conceptboard als Wissensspeicher und Arbeitstool.

Die Software lässt sich schnell in Online-Workshops einbinden. TeilnehmerInnen, die noch nie mit Conceptboard gearbeitet haben, finden sich schnell zurecht und können ihre Inhalte teilen.

Cons:

Audio- und Videoanrufe haben anfänglich nicht reibungslos funktioniert.

Gemeinsames Arbeiten an Ideen und vor allem an Modellen und Workflows werden durch dieses Tool extrem erleichtert. Die Bedienung ist sehr intuitiv und vor allem das parallel gemeinsame Arbeiten ist extrem vorteilhaft.

Cons:

Komplexere Modelle und Workflows werden schnell unübersichtlich in dem Tool. Nur für Entwürfe geeignet, Workflows müssen dann oft in Tools, wie Camunda überführt werden.

Freiberufliche Grafikdesignerin – arbeiten mit/auf Conceptboard

Ich verwende Conceptboard für Feedback-Runden mit meinen Kund:innen und sehe darin meinen größten Vorteil – auf ein Board geladene Grafiken kann ich einfach kommentieren und Kund:innen markieren, sodass diese darüber benachrichtigt werden. Für mich löst sich durch Conceptboard das Problem verschiedene Plattformen für verschiedene Funktionen zu verwenden. Auf Conceptboard kann ich Video-Calls abhalten, Präsentationen durchführen, Feedback-Runden starten und gut mit Kund:innen gemeinsam arbeiten.

Mir gefällt die Flexibilität, die Conceptboard mir für die Zusammenarbeit mit anderen bietet. Ich kann auf dem Board unter anderem Entwürfe zeichnen, diese von anderen kommentieren lassen oder Präsentationen vorbereiten und in "sections" unterteilen. Die Anwendung ist einfach zu begreifen und allein beim ersten Ausprobieren bekommt man schon einen sehr guten Eindruck, was Conceptboard einem alles bieten kann.

Cons:

Aus Sicht der Anwendungen kann ich so keine Kritik äußern. Allerdings wünschte ich mir manchmal eine Übersicht oder eine Form Auflistung der Elemente auf einem Board, von der ich einzelne Elemente ansteuern bzw. auswählen könnte. Mir ist der Gedanke gekommen, da eingebettete Videos beim anklicken gleich sich abspielen oder in einem neuen Browser den Link öffnen. Es gestaltet sich schwer, ein Video zu bewegen, besonders wenn sich beim Laden auf das Board Elemente darunter befinden. Eine Auflistung würde hierbei hilfreich sein, das Video einzeln auszuwählen und somit zu bewegen. Man darf dabei allerdings nicht vergessen, dass diese Anwendung eine für Kreativ-Software typische Funktion ist, weshalb ich als Designerin intuitiv davon profitieren würde.

Die Software ist einfach in der Anwendung, auch Teilnehmende kommen schnell damit zurecht. Die Auswahl der Tools und Möglichkeiten ist sehr gut und auch die Möglichkeit der Individualisierung. Meinen Kunden sind beruhigt, da es sich um einen deutschen Anbieter handelt und browserbasiert ist.

Cons:

Der Überblick der ganzen Funktionen braucht am Anfang etwas Zeit. Eine bessere Übersicht oder Quelle für Hilfe kann helfen. Vielleicht kenne ich sie auch nur nicht.

A very good tool for presentation
