About Microsoft Project Server Subscription Edition

Project Server is an on-premise software that helps businesses plan, track, execute and manage project portfolios. The platform enables managers to collect, visualize and share relevant information with staff members in real-time.

Administrators can manage all resources, schedules, costs and communications associated with each project on a centralized dashboard. Project Server allows teams to plan project portfolio investments, create workflows in SharePoint Designer and manage resources. Additionally, supervisors can configure role-based access permissions for staff members and build project delivery framework on a unified interface.

Project Server lets stakeholders integrate the solution with several applications including Azure Active Directory to manage user credentials. Pricing is available on request and support is extended via phone, email, FAQs, knowledge base and an online contact form.

Pros:

Like all things Microsoft, Projects has the look and feel built for productivity. It's really easy and self-explanatory. The integration with MS teams and other Office 365 products makes it a charm.

Cons:

The cost. I find MS Projects Server to be really expensive. Everything else is good.

Reasons for switching to Microsoft Project Server Subscription Edition

Because of the lack of features in Bitrix. Also, bitrix was very slow.

My overall experience with Project Server is positive. It is a powerful project management tool that provides effective project management capabilities, allowing users to easily plan, manage and monitor projects. It also provides powerful reporting and analytics capabilities, allowing users to quickly analyze data and make informed decisions. Additionally, Project Server is highly scalable and customizable, providing users with the ability to tailor the application to their specific needs. Overall, I am very impressed with Project Server and would highly recommend it to any organization looking for an efficient and effective project management solution.

Pros:

I liked the fact that this software was extremely easy to use and accessible even for the most inexperienced users. The user interface was straightforward and intuitive, making it easy to navigate and find what I was looking for. Additionally, the software was able to quickly process large amounts of data, making it a great tool for data analysis.

Cons:

The least liked aspect of this software is the lack of accessibility. It is not user-friendly and requires a significant amount of technical knowledge to be able to navigate and use the software effectively. Additionally, it is not compatible with all devices, which can be frustrating for users.

Pros:

Project Server is very powerful when it comes to scheduling capabilities. Building cross project dependencies is a great perk that is helpful when managing multiple projects that are interlinked.

Cons:

The learning curve for the software is very steep. This is not intuitive at all and takes significant time investment to learn. It's a pain to have multiple projects open and try to flip between the two. On server, it's also cumbersome to checkout schedules and then check them back in vs a cloud based solution.

''La principal limitación es que las funciones mas potentes y necesarias para un control profesional están reservadas exclusivamente para la versión Pro, lo que implica una inversión considerable.
