Huge functionality, from timesheet management until invoicing for a good price. Simple to adapt to our companies needs. Simple to install and maintain. Covers out of the box all functinality which was available in ower former time management application (own development)

Cons:

Huge functionality comes with huge complexity for implementation phase - you must keep the focus on "what is really needed" and then enhance over the time. Usability/User friendlyness can be sometimes better, but the team is working on that.

Reasons for choosing BCS

1. Comparable low price for us in comparison to the competitors with comparable functionality. 2. Can be adapted by our own to our needs 3. Fits to local standards (integration with accounting system, electronic invoicing standard XRechnung/ZuGFerD, supported Project Management standards)

Streamlined Project Management for a greentech startup

Overall, Projektron BCS has greatly improved how we manage projects. Pros:

As a software developer in a sustainability startup, I’ve worked with many project management tools, but Projektron BCS really stands out. The interface is extremely user-friendly and requires little onboarding. The task and resource management features have streamlined our processes significantly, making it much easier to track progress and allocate resources for our green initiatives.

Cons:

There’s not much to dislike about Projektron BCS. The only initial challenge we had was setting up some custom workflows, but their customer support was fantastic and helped us make the necessary adjustments quickly.

Learing PM with BCS

Due its initial complexity I didnt enjoy working with BCS at first. But over the Time it started growing on me after learning more and more functions and where to find them I am quiet able to efficiently manage my Projects with it.

Pros:

Projektron is highly user-focused and provides a comprehensive suite of project management tools. It equips us with all the necessary instruments for our daily and routine tasks at a compact and transparent price.

Cons:

Projektron is very feature-rich, offering all the capabilities we need. However, this also means it has a slow learning curve. Initially, user acceptance was partly low, but this issue has been addressed through intensive support. The application could benefit from a more streamlined design. As far as I know, work on this is currently underway.

From deployment and vacation planning to working time accounts, contract management, and personnel group administration, the system has impressed us for many years. The comprehensive functionality integrated into a single tool is outstanding. Especially noteworthy are the integrated time tracking, project structure planning, and resource management. It provides an excellent basis for controlling and achieving transparency regarding project progress and team utilization. Cons:

The initial onboarding effort can be quite high, as the system offers a vast number of features, and the user interface sometimes appears a bit cluttered. The ease of use, especially for new or occasional users, could be more intuitive in some modules.
