Zenzap: Streamlining Work Life Away from Personal Chat Apps

It's totally changed how we handle our work chats and projects. I feel a lot better knowing our work conversations are private and won't get mixed up with anyone’s personal messages. The best part is how easy and familiar it feels to use, which means we didn’t waste time learning a complicated new tool. Keeping track of what everyone’s working on has become a breeze.

Pros:

The standout feature of Zenzap for me is how it keeps all my work stuff separate from personal chats like WhatsApp. It’s a game-changer for making sure important work info stays safe, especially when people come and go from the company. Using Zenzap feels super familiar, kind of like WhatsApp or iMessage, but it got extra tools that help me and my team get things done quicker.

Cons:

If there’s anything to nitpick, it’s that moving to Zenzap from other apps we used to use took a bit of getting used to for some folks on my team (mostly my [sensitive content hidden] ). But honestly, these are small things compared to how much smoother it makes working together.

Reasons for switching to Zenzap

Slack is very annoying when it comes for retrieving information and it is very hard to work 'per project'. Whatapp is great, but I don't want to mix my personal life with business. Trello doesn't allow me and my team to have quick chats, which means we have to speak about our tasks there using another app.

Zen Zap has saved my company tons of money compared to our last platform, and the staff have been responsive and helpful! It's easy to use when you know to use the app to customize.

Cons:

I would like to see color coding options to cut down on the visual clutter since we have a number of topics to respond to each day.

The ease of use is quite difficult, not app friendly, individuals find it hard to navigate around the app

Minimal design and effective tool for any team wanting to increase productivity.

I have had an overall positive experience! It was a little challenging to make the switch from our team's previous platform, but after the first couple of weeks, things started running smoothly, which is all I can ask for in a tool such as this one.

Pros:

There is a short period of getting used to where things are located within the application, but once you get that locked in, everything in the app is intuitive and easy to navigate to whatever you need. The overall design is minimal and just what I need. Not too much fluff! On my team, we used the task/list tool all the time to ensure projects were done in a timely manner. Super helpful!

Cons:

Things were a little different coming from FB work chat. Like the in message camera is a little outdated, the gif keyboard isn't as easy to access, and the messaging is laid out differently. But nothing major and many features have been updated since first using the app.

Reasons for switching to Zenzap

The platform was discontinued, so we did not have a choice.

The ability to communicate with everyone in the company in one app and that one app is user friendly.

Cons:

Honestly there’s not a thing to dislike. Other than maybe there’s a lot going on in the app. For people that are not good with electronics it could be an issue but as for myself I am good with technology and computers

Using Zenzap as a Nurse with a medical provider

It has been quite easy to adapt to using this application . As an older employee who is slower to learn electronics, this is a relief.

It is private, so I can send an image to a medical provider without worry of it becoming public. I can also speak to other coworkers on a separate thread.

Cons:

All of the notifications chiming often ...... But I do realize I can mute the alarms. It is nice to feel connected in an occupation where staff are spread out across the state.

Cons:

You cannot reply to the messages you it is purely for information from management where as with signal we were able to reply

Regarding the inability to reply, we’d like to clarify how this works. Some companies choose to use announcement-only channels, where messages are intentionally one-way so important updates don’t get lost in conversations. This setting is decided by the organization’s management, not a limitation of Zenzap itself. Zenzap fully supports two-way communication. You can reply and have conversations in regular chat channels or direct messages, and teams are free to create open channels where discussion is encouraged.
