About iSalon

iSalon is a salon management solution that helps hair and beauty clinics and spas handle appointment bookings, client records and inventories via a unified platform. The application allows employees to create and run marketing campaigns, automate workflows and manage employees.

iSalon enables professionals to maintain product lists, track employees’ productivity and store customer details in a centralized repository. Managers can use the application to configure loyalty programs, create purchase orders and generate financial reports.

I find it easy to use and handy when I am travelling not having to make international calls to make appointments

Cons:

I don't like that I am now being charged an up front fee to make a appointment at the time of booking

Wow this looks great

I have been looking a various salon appointment systems and was impressed by the great look and easy us of I-Salon. The team love it and the new internet bookings is already paying for itself

Pros:

Stock control and reporting . They build all your stock prices in before you start and train staff on how to use it

Cons:

Its look a bit pricey compared to others but has a lot more to it

Long inflexible contracts, terrible company, expensive low quality product

Getting rid of it. 100%. It is the only benefit.

Cons:

Absolutely everything. I would have dumped it sooner but was locked in a 5 year unbreakable contract. Be careful- this renews automatically. They had me buy 10k sms initially, and topped up usage back to 10k each month. Made excuses not to refund the 10k at the end. Pure theft. Clunky, slow, ugly UI. They will NOT release your data in your database at the end. Attitude is you left, your choice, we are not helping you. Had to start afresh. Everything is an add on. Remote access. Website booking. Facebook booking. Reviews. Hated every moment of dealing with them. Worst software I've ever seen.

Beware of the small print

unfortunately we were left with no option but to leave isalon due to difficulties in their delivery of services and changes imposed without any consultation.

Pros:

the software is fairly easy to use. Appointment making and taking a bill is simple.

Cons:

there are so many aspects of the software which don't function well and in some cases provide inconsistent accuracy of data. functionality is not as described or promised and the system would benefit from a complete re-write. in addition the contractual terms are not made clear and may be as long as 5 years. you can only end the contract by giving notice 90 days before the anniversary date of install otherwise you are tied in for another 12 months, which I believe is enforced. the support is not as described and falls short of satisfactory.

DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

This company are over priced and rip you off!!! They do not care about there customers!!! They put you in ridiculously long 5 year contract and charge way over the odds for salon support!!!! they also charge you for adding on anything!!! DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY!!! i got completely fooled by them they say they are the best and the cheaper companies use cheaper software its all lies!!!!! they don't have a copy of your database they cannot bring back any information unless you have backed it up everyday!!! There remote access never ever works or if it does is slow and pointless!!!! PLEASE DONT GET STUCK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!
