Paypal is top notch

Very easy to use and customize

I used it for several years, to bill my client/employer for my services. It's very intuitive, probably the easiest to use invoicing system. However, in my case, PayPal became too expensive due to the currency exchange rates and transaction and withdrawal fees, so I opted for direct bank account transactions and it didn't make sense to keep using PayPal.

The invoices are very easy to customize, create, and keep track of. You can save templates, clone old invoices, and send them out with one click. You receive notifications when sending them and when receiving payments and can trigger reminders. Very convenient solution for online and international payments.

Associated costs, including PayPal currency exchange and transaction fees.

Pros:

I use PayPal on a daily basis. From invoicing to paying online, PayPal has been my go to payment software for the past 5 years. It is very easy to create an invoice and either download and email, or send it directly to clients through the interface. I would recommend PayPal to literally everyone looking to have their invoices organized and sent on a regular basis.

Cons:

I would increase the hours of customer service and ways to get in contact with support.
