He has taken the time to understand our workflows and has been extremely responsive in helping us get our reporting and setup exactly how we need it. He's shown me so many cooler features and hacks to help me manage my 50+ site flow. What I like best about MaintainX is how easy it makes it to track, assign, and follow up on maintenance tasks across multiple locations in real time. The interface is user-friendly, and the ability to attach photos, documents, and comments to each request helps ensure clear communication and accountability. I also appreciate the customizable checklists and the flexibility to set recurring tasks or preventive maintenance schedules, it really supports staying proactive rather than reactive.

So Far it has been good. There has been a big learning curve for myself and within the company. the data import from the original migration was hacked and caused unusable data in the maintainx system.

The mobile version app is clean and easy to use for the most part. The ability to quickly see asset work order history as well as attachments like manuals and drawings for the asset tab. Work order request function.

Cons:

1.Lack of full control over customization of work order form. We don't need or track some of the information on the work order form and the inability to change or remove it is frustrating. 2. No ability to edit fields from the work order table view. 3. The repeating work order function is confusing compared to other cmms systems. The systems automatically creates the next work order when one is completed. This is creating confusion and it is difficult to understand/explain. 4. Very limited ability to mass change values. Having to manually go to each work order to change or update something is time consuming and frustrating. Especially if you are updating a procedure that is on a work order. Having to continue clicking back to the original repeating work order is time consuming and frustrating. 5. No ability to link purchase order to a work order or an asset. 6. No ability to make changes across sub organizations at once. We have 4 Facilites and we would like more ability to control consistency 7. No ability to add multiple assets to a work order. 8. No way to quickly print labels for incoming spare parts. You can Fulfill them from the purchase order which adds them to the inventory, but then there is no way to print the qrcode labels with other information like part name, shelf location.

Easy to use. Excellent customer service and support. We get great data now that we were getting before. It is very secure. We can create excellent technical procedures. Parts is great to include price. Excellent MaintainX support and management team.

Cons:

It would be nice to have a separate catagory for PM's. I would like to see only PM items and not all workorders. Having a separate PM schedule would be great.

[sensitive content hidden] was the sole reason we went with MaintainX. We could see the difference in the customer support when she came on site. Without her we would have went with the cheaper competitor option. Her work has been excellent. She also has a great team that has been excellent to work with.

Easy CMMS to implement and use

They made our transition from our old system to theirs very easy by providing us Excel templates to reduce the potential for formatting errors. They also helped us recognize differences in data types from our various sites and modify to fit everyone.

Cons:

Reporting really needs to keep up with the advances they are making in other areas of the system. I can now capture Planned Downtime, but it is difficult/impossible to report it. The meter capability is good but there is room for growth there as well.

Maintain X is a game changer

I am happy with the software and allowing use to schedule inspections and stay on top of issues that can been seen by multiple employees. Our company was holding us back not allowing us to use it properly, but Ira was able to assist with that and get the seats we needed.

The way I can keep up with the maintenance and how versatile the program is. It was a big upgrade from the last program and the ease of use. Using this program takes the way of the need of paperwork. Also, they are constantly improving the software and do their best to fulfil the users needs. The customer service dealing with Ira has been a blessing.

Cons:

Not may cons other that the cost of the software from where I sit in the company. I had issue getting the seats I needed but thinking that's on our companies end. Building up the data in program from scratch at the start but the other hand our MX help Ira has made this less painful because she has helped a lot.

We use MaintainX to run our entire maintenance operation across our food manufacturing facility, and overall it’s been a solid tool for keeping things organized. We handle everything in it — daily work orders, equipment upkeep, and our full preventive maintenance schedule. The mobile app is where it really shines for us. Our techs can open and close work orders on the production floor, attach photos of issues, and complete sanitation-safe checklists without carrying paper around the plant. That alone has cut down a ton of wasted time and improved traceability for audits. The ability to build checklists has also been helpful for food safety compliance. We use them for line inspections, lubrication routes, and pre-op equipment checks. Having conversations inside the work orders instead of scattered texts or radios has reduced miscommunication between maintenance and production. It feels more like a tool the team actually wants to use, not just another system forced on them. It’s not the most advanced CMMS out there, especially if you need deep inventory control or complex equipment trees, but for a busy manufacturing environment like ours, it handles the core needs well. We track critical assets like mixers, conveyors, ovens, packaging machines, and refrigeration units, and the maintenance history is easy to pull up when troubleshooting repeat failures. At the end of the day, MaintainX helped us move away from spreadsheets, paper binders, and messy communication — which was a huge upgrade. We’ve had occasional delays syncing work orders in low Wi-Fi areas of the plant, but nothing that has stopped production or caused major issues. Support has been responsive when we needed help setting up or adjusting workflows.

there are so many positives with this software but the ease of use is at the top, customer support is 1st rate, the AI procedure creation tool is excellent

i have not found anything i don't like so far, the software is easy to use and set up, i just cannot fault this at all,
