Best Church Management System for any size church!

The overall experience with Chmeetings has been wonderful. I have directed two management systems in the education field. Chmeetings was by far the most helpful with the transition and data development. They are always available for support. Thank you for providing such a robust product at a pricepoint that is accessible for any size church.

We chose Chmeetings for two primary reasons. 1) The price compared to the total features. 2) the ability to leave voicemail in the communication module.

Pros:

Everything we need in one place! Before using Chmeetings we used to have 3 database systems for different purposes.

Cons:

There's not much not to like in Chmeetings. Main filed alias personalization on the backoffice would be great.

It's mostly positive. The things it is lacking are not exactly negatives.

Pros:

The low cost for being able to do what we need it to do. It's a little clumsy and takes extra time to figure things out, but since we can't really afford a more expensive app, it's working for now.

Cons:

It took time for me to figure out how to navigate the app and often I have to demonstrate to church members how to use it because it's not very intuitive. I would like a message board or chat feature. It would also be nice if members/users could choose upcoming events they would like to be reminded about with a notification or email. I wish there were more inexpensive label printer options compatible with the app. I wish there was a list view that showed both the date and volunteers' names for planning. Being able to print that list/calendar would also be very helpful.

The same level of customer care that the CHMeetings provided before we purchased their product is the same level of customer care they have been providing after the purchase. We are extremely pleased.

Excellent support after we purchased the CHMeetings software. The staff is readily available, knowledgeable and open to suggestions. Lighthouse made the right choice when we selected CHMeetings.

Cons:

To be honest, I cannot think of any cons. We have made suggestions for additional features however, I do not consider that a "con".

Great Church management software

Overall Chmeetings is an excellent platform that is far more affordable than some of the main stream alternatives. Excellent service, intuitive layout, and extensive features make it a perfect choice for churches of any size.

Pros:

Super easy to use with simple layout. Very responsive, great features to encompass the needs of most church life. In particular the quick create form feature is invaluable for collecting data or permission forms for youth and children events. Support for the software is also quick and helpful. Would highly recommend

Cons:

Lacks a little in customisability. It is still a relatively young product and therefore some of the integration capabilities with the API are limited

Very User-friendly and easy to use. Very versatile. So many modules.

Cons:

Importing contributions works well. However, I wish that once the envelope number was on the template, the import would be processed. Just my preference.

Chmeetings offers a wide variety of fantastic features that are incredibly useful for my church organization. What's even better is that all these options are easily accessible! It has great value at an affordable price.

Cons:

There are a few features that are still missing, like the ability to link forms to multiple people, which would be helpful for me. However, they’re always working on improvements, and this hasn’t been a major issue so far.

Freedom and ease without feeling patronized

I have loved using this software. As we get more familiar with it, our church is considering the addition of the personalized church app in the future.

Pros:

Chmeetings has the ability to do so much. And if the ability isn't there, it gives the user the tools needed to create a system by which you can make whatever you need to do possible. Never have I seen a church management software with as much diversity and options as this one. Not to mention it makes navigating the software easy while at the same time not patronizing the user as if they were a child in need of a bib, nap, and a coddle. I feel confident in my ability to navigate the software and empowered to manage without the need for someone to hold my hand. And even if I did need further help, the customer service is responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly. I cannot recommend this product enough!

Cons:

I haven't found anything negative yet, but I'm confident if I do, the Chmeetings team will address it right away because they seem ready to accept feedback and listen to their users.

Reasons for switching to Chmeetings

Planning Center was unable to do some of the things we needed regarding attendance and member management, and their prices were getting higher and higher while offering less and less.

New user, small church

Pretty good overall. There is a learning curve with the different groups and features, but it’s a powerful tool.

Pros:

A lot of options and great structure for our church. It’s pretty easy to build and find what you need in the member portal and app. I also like that it integrates online giving, which is the main reason we started using ChMeetings.

Cons:

Since it is geared towards churches, it would be great to have a feature for congregants to take notes. It feels a little lacking in that area.
