About Preview

Preview is a cloud-based project collaboration solution for freelancers and small businesses involved in web development. It offers tools for ticket management, bug tracking, notifications, prototype designing, update sharing and more.

Preview allows users to build prototypes of functioning web pages that can be shared with colleagues and clients. Updates to prototypes are reflected in real time, and multiple users, including external clients, can collaborate on page design. Users can share designs, prototypes or completed projects with their clients and colleagues.

Kanban boards help to schedule employees, and the drag-and-drop interface allows users to add new tasks, change task status and assign tickets. Customized email notifications can be sent when tasks or projects are completed, and bug tracking tools let users flag issues for resolution. Preview also supports integrations with design applications through a Rest API.

Pricing is per month based on the number of projects.

A clean and affordable alternative to Acrobat Reader

As an integrated tool in the Apple Suite Preview is simply an invaluable tool to replace Adobe Acrobat reader. Fully integrated int he Apple Suite it allows users to share very effectively documents via an email software or documents sharing software ( dropbox, Google drive). I have been using Preview since 2005 and I have never receive a complaint form a client about the unreadability of the documents I sent. It has been working flawlessly since 2005!

Pros:

The signature function! It is amazing to be be able to electronically sign pdf forms. Very early done using the web cam of the touch pad. The annotation tool is great and easy to use. Highlight, inserting text etc. quickly and easily done. Saving pdf document on the cloud allows fast and accessible way to read documents away form the office using the phone or tablet. Possible to select text form a pdf and copy and paste it to a word processing or presentation software. Very useful. Very powerful tool !

Cons:

Some imported pdf seem to be more difficult to handle ( e.g. not possible to select text to copy/past). Some automated pdf do not allow the user to fill in forms.

Pros:

Easy and straight forward to use, it offers features such as ticket management and bug tracking which is not something I come across often.

Cons:

It seems to be more suited for projects/project management. I didn't feel it suited me as an artist. The company is in france, some pages on the website were in frence and I don't speak the language.

I wondered if they could offer me more on the free plan but it offered less (100mb of storage with ppreview but you get 500mb with wix)

Built into Macs, Preview is an easy way to manage and assemble PDFs for sharing with anyone.

Occasionally freezes when there are large merges of PDFs, but no more than other PDF software.

Pros:

Preview is a game changer in social media era especially for instagramers. It helps manage everything, reels, stories, rearrange posts, media editing, auto-post and hashtags, analytics. The interface is intuitive, clear with all information right in the front of you, making it one of the easiest and quickest software I ever used. It has reframing feature lacking in other instagram management software

Cons:

Preview works only on Instagram while Instagram itself cross-works with facebook for example. It would be better to add the support for other social media platforms. Its discovery feature is still limited.
