About BORIS

BORIS is a cloud-based field service management solution designed to streamline business operations and improve efficiency. With BORIS, users can digitize workflow and eliminate paperwork, allowing them to take control of their business.

BORIS offers clock card timesheets, expenses, and holiday management to help monitor the cost and performance of people. Users can turn any product into a digital asset using barcodes, QR codes, or NFC pins or tags. This enables them to record, locate, and manage your assets, including up-to-date service history.

BORIS lets staff members ensure safe procedures are communicated and followed with features such as photo capture, signature capture, GPS recording, and date stamping as evidence. Users can create jobs, schedule time, and allocate resources for deployment to your field-based teams. The live drawing support enhances on-site performance. BORIS also helps ensure the team's safety by using GPS to support lone working and create templates to manage the quality and safety of vehicles.

Fantastic system

Very reliable and a great support team. Boris has transformed our operations and our team could not go back to paper processes. We have made all aspects of our quality and recording more efficient. Our site teams love it because they don’t have to call to the office anymore!

Pros:

BORIS offers the most comprehensive pricing module for the fire stopping and fire door industry. We looked at all systems on the market and non offered the same level of flexibility

Cons:

When we first bought BORIS the interface was old but the new UI/UX that was introduced in 23 is first class

Price, functionality and offline use. BORIS offers modules for all aspects of our business from health and safety to HR and we still have utilised everything. The account management team at BORIS always there to help.

KeepClear !!!

Poor customer service . Salesman who promised several ( unavailable) features refused to call me. When I asked for a refund my email was ignored . We are now with Bolster . Far superior system .

I honestly can’t find anything positive to write about our treatment. We are a small new company and subscribed to Boris lite . We were promised the world. Most of the features promised were not forthcoming

Cons:

Whilst the Boris team tried to assist the salesman was emailed several times. The Boris lite system does not work . We never completed one task successfully . I would not subscribe to this product

Adaptable and easy to use

The helpdesk is very supportive & helps with any issues I may have but also shows me how to do things myself. I now have a library of prompts for when I need to do something on Boris that I haven't done for a while.

Pros:

I bought the software to carry out fire risk assessments and fire door surveys but it does so much more. I now complete Health & Safety, Vehicle and Ladder Audits, New Starter forms, PPE Checks, Expense Forms, and Toolbox Talks and have added training videos & staff certification.

Cons:

As with any new software, the first month of using the app is a learning curve & you need to persevere to appreciate the benefits that it can bring. I no longer have to spend time typing up my notes, or resizing photos from an assessment as I do everything directly into the app so the assessment is finished when I leave the site.

SiteWorks - I customised the app to make it do what I needed it to do to collate the photographs for my fire risk assessments but I then had 2 documents for one assessment.

I absolutely adore our Boris system, every day tasks are an absolute dream due to the extensive capabilities and how streamlined Boris is. We have not experienced any issues with Boris and I have personally been using this system for just short of 5 years, it has everything that we could ever need in order to manage a successful and every growing business. The features of Boris have no end and it is fully flexible to suit any business sizes or requirements. I could not possibly pick a favourite feature as there are far too many but I can say that without Boris, my working day would never end it would be a lot more stressful! Boris literally takes everything and makes it work like a dream with just a few clicks of a button!

Cons:

I am yet to find something that Boris cannot do and so there is nothing that i like least about Boris, aside from not finding it sooner!

Reasons for choosing BORIS

Quite frankly, we chose Boris over Bolster because it fits so much better. Everything flows, its easy to set up, easy to manage, and a lot easier to navigate. Boris customer service is so much better than Bolster and its capabilities are a lot more extensive.

Pros:

Boris Software has allowed us to have greater control and organisation in the day to day running of our company, both on site and back in the office. For our teams on site they have everything they need including digital RAMS, interactive floor plans, scheduled works and much more. Boris has helped with the growth of the business, this system allows us to easily monitor each project efficiently. The most important role of any reporting software is providing our clients with the necessary information in a transparent and efficient manner, with Boris Software our clients can receive live updates to monitor progression on site in real time.

Cons:

Due to the size of the reports that we are sometimes required to work on, the Boris software on both mobile and desktop can be slow to load.
