gulfHR offers a fully comprehensive HR and Payroll software system and is the HR and Payroll partner of choice for many industry leaders in the UAE, Middle East, KSA, and Egypt and have been doing so since 2003.

Our software helps our customer to improve their HR and payroll efficiencies and accuracies and to increase automation of complex tasks, all the while ensuring you remain compliant. Our software will also assist with complex challenges such as WPS, end-of-service, visa tracking and much more.

We provide our customers with end-to-end HR and payroll functionality which is available in English and Arabic. Our system enables our customer to easily onboard new employees, manage payroll, HR admin, leave, project time sheets, time and attendance and to automate letters and notifications, with access to an employee self-service system, a mobile app and an applicant tracking system (ATS) for recruitment purposes.

We have indepth local knowledge, simplifying HR and Payroll processes and compliance, and cater for a comprehensive and complex range of payroll calculations.

I have extensive hands-on experience with Gulf HR, where I successfully developed and implemented the system from the ground up to meet the unique needs of the hospitality and F&B industry. System Setup & Configuration – Customized GulfHR to align with organizational policies, workflows, and UAE labor law requirements. Integration – Linked GulfHR with other ERP and hospitality-related systems to streamline payroll, attendance, and employee records. HRIS Management – Managed end-to-end HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, leave management, insurance, and performance tracking through the platform. Reporting & Analytics – Built detailed HR dashboards and reports to provide management with real-time insights on workforce planning, attrition, headcount, and costs. Overall, GulfHR has enabled me to transform HR operations into a centralized, automated, and data-driven system, improving accuracy, compliance, and decision-making across the business.

Good overall experience and robust structure

The support service and the product are on point, and right now we are working on the time and attendance solution, which we expect to have ready by October.

It is a reliable product, very intuitive and the support service is tackling solutions in a timely manner.

Cons:

Not much, except for the recent security breach, which they managed to solve after a few days, and all the sensitive data was protected and recovered.

Pros:

I like the customer service. They always respond very quickly and try to solve the issues in a timely manner.

Cons:

There is still a lot of manual work and the process can be tedious sometimes. For example if I create a new employee the gratuity filter has to be then manually changed as this is not there in the standard setup. To create a new employee you will first create a job master, then create organizational structure and then link the employee. It is the same for promotions and transfers. Many times when I have salary increments I have faced errors in the back pay if gosi is involved. We have many regions but i can only download bulk payroll file with all regions so I again have to download it and seperate it to different regions. So this has manual work too. These are small things that they can improve to make the system more effective
