About Hitch

Hitch is a web-based talent mobility and intelligence solution, designed to help large businesses build teams, reskill and upskill workforce and generate career plans.

Hitch enables HR managers to match candidates and provide recommendations based on human behavior, profiles, job posting and project. Employees can prepare personal profiles and list their talents, skill set, education qualifications and certifications from previous roles. Managers can also determine skill gaps and monitor the internal talent pipeline. Additionally, administrators can track critical skills requirements based on location or department via advanced searching capabilities.

Hitch offers integration with several third-party applications such as IBM Kenexa, Jobvite, ADP, Greenhouse, Paylocity, Slack, Ultimate Software, Kronos, Workday, and more. Pricing is available on request and support is extended via email.

    Easy implementation, great support and assistance by provider

    Communication was open and prompt. Sales did not oversell and underdeliver. Honest conversations what makes sense and what not, expectations have been set at the right levels. During tech implemenatation a few problems popped up but the technical support and the dedicated customer success team helped out with competent feedback. Things go wrong, but it is good to know that somebody takes you serious. Global deployment for customer was a little bumpy because of GDPR and other compliance topics. Not really a Hitch problem but it could always be smoother. Communication with us was always good and fast, despite being the integrator and not having the direct agreement

    - Easy integration into customers IT infrastructure - High security and data privacy settings - quick solutions for integration problems provided by support team - knowledgable and honest (!) sales team to inform about features and functions
    Cons:
    - Initial feature set was not at same level as competitor product (solved by roadmap at this point) - additional efforts for AWS on our side for customer, but that is a minor point only.

    I was not involved in the purchasing process, but needed to review the technical specs. Hitch team delivered a solid, unagitated proposal. It looked quite stale and boring, but i delivered what it promised.

    Cost savings, because it allows underutilized employees to join projects that need more headcount. Opportunity for employee to explore other area in the company It allows for innovative ideas to be tried and tracked. Visibility to company talent

    Hitch provides the opportunity for Managers to post opportunity for members outside their teams. Employees have the opportunity to work on projects they want and feel passionate about. It's easy to set up projects, review candidates and get the necessary approvals. It also sends an alert to employees that have the necessary skills for the role. For our company, we have opportunities set up by departments, so exploring interests is intuitive and user friendly. We also have a location feature that could limit the results to location of interest.
    Cons:
    Currently, the skills set has to be manually updated. The search functionality could be improved Interaction between our ATS and Hitch is not fully functional

    1. ability to utilize skills in a different role/part of the company 2. flexibility in applying for projects 3. increased capacity in terms of finding the right people for the project 4. Future of Work. As new employees join they truly want to see their potential realized fully, learn new areas of the organization, participate in projects to gain new skills. This really creates way better engagement! (not to mention supplements the projects with help as needed)
    Cons:
    not every manager could be open for their team members to enroll in additional projects (their loss quite honestly - this is an amazing engagement opportunity - I have colleagues that are staying only because they can do smth different in addition to their day-to-day tasks)
