PayClock Online is a web-based time clock software designed to help businesses capture, edit and integrate employee time and attendance data into various payroll systems. Good Time Clock Management

Our experience was good, we just outgrew it as we grew and needed additional functionality, not just a timeclock.

Pros:

It did what we needed in the beginning, which is just to track time. Also, reports were easy to run.

Cons:

We needed more functionality and we needed compliance tools. We are in California, so making sure breaks and lunches were taken and acknowledged eletronically was important to us.

Great Timeclock Software

Payclock has great capabilites for physical timeclock and app based time tracking. It integrates well with Quickbooks Enterprise however, you do have to refresh the software connection every other payroll or so or the time has a tendency to not connect. I like that employees can use both the physical clocks and the app to clock in and out since my employees are often on the move. Overall, it's very easy to use and I would recommend it!

It's easy to import my new employees from Quickbooks and set them up as new users.

Cons:

The Payclock app has a tendency to freeze up which can be fixed by closing and reopening the app.

They no longer supported physical timeclocks which is important to my business.

PAYCLOCK

I had high hope for this system to be a lot more than it has been for us. I am disappointed in the user friendly ness of this.

I LIKE THE ABILITY THAT IT HAS TO TRACK DATA AND EMPLOYEES.

Cons:

The Software is NOT user friendly. Very disapointed in that. We also need to call in about every 3 months and get everything reset. We have cloud issues with this system. It will even say it on the time clock front.

pricing was on the high end, but we felt we would get a good value for the money, and get what we wanted for our payroll. We are looking at quickbooks time and attendance and other options at this time.

Would Purchase Again

My employees can text me anytime to correct their time and I can keep an eye on their time and ask them about it while they still remember. It's super quick to do from anywhere with the app on my phone and takes seconds. Employee times are more accurate

Most effective, efficient timekeeping system on the market

So far, I have had absolutely no problems with the system. I used the Lathem Timeclock system before but absolutely love the Payclock Online version even more.

This was the first and only program that I found that was able to acommodate multiple departments with varying payroll rules ex: part-time, full-time, prn, shift differentials, salaried versus non salaried etc

Cons:

The only con I have found so far is each pay period when closing it out you have to close out by each department instead of closing out the entire pay period at once. There should be an option to close it out all at once without so many steps.

Convenient way to clock in and out while working remotely.

I like being able to easily clock in and out. I work remotely a few days a week and this helps a lot to track hours instead of having a time card to punch. Plus it's great being able to see how many hours I've gotten each day and over the course of the pay period.

Ease of clocking in and out, weather working from home or the office.

Cons:

It is slow to load sometimes and you can't see if you've clocked in or out which can result in a clock in and out situation. You have to wait 1 minute to re clock or out. Not a huge pain, but a little frustrating sometimes..
