Straight forward PMO software

I used FALCON in PMOs and it is the best tool I encountered so far.

Pros:

Cloud based solution that allows to easily set up and manage larger projects. Structuring of Programs/Projects etc. is well done! Works smoothly and is always available. The support team is great - quick replies ans always solutions on hand!

Cons:

I would appreciate snapshots per reporting period that would allow to show the progress since the last snapshot.

Thanks for the good tool and support

We are rolling this out in a company who was not used to work with such kind of tools at all. The support of the customer success team is outstanding and helps a lot. Comparing with other tools/providers on the market, I am not only happy with Falcon but also with the overall team.

Pros:

Flexibility, intuitive usability enhanced by high additional opportunities like reporting structure etc. -> "easy to learn, not too hard to master"

Cons:

I would have loved more to have a bit more flexiblity to give rights to create measures (not only admin users) and to assign the opportunity to different roles to approve just certain measure phases. E.g. workpackage owner can approve phase 1 to 2, then additionally another role is needed, etc.

Reasons for choosing Falcon

Functionallity, service etc. was outstandingly better The solution of ValueDesk was also an option, but I could not chose it in the dropdown

Reasons for switching to Falcon

I changed the company and wanted to have a tool with enhanced opportunities

Falcon at IMSGear

Very good expierence about usage of the tool and support from the Company Nordantech. Get us as a Company a better picture about the main strategic Program/Projects/Packages and single measures with a detail view on benefits and bottle necks.

Easy to handle, clear and understandable usage. Very fast reaction time from support and always solutions presented from the support team. Very friendly and helpfull team and tool.

Cons:

Difficulty to change the setup if you recognize that you need a change (data will be lost). Sometimes hard to find the right setup => some proposal might be helpfull.

Excellent tool to make your Transformation transparent

Very easy to use and once it is set-up easy to maintain. The data upload is gold and all users who were first negativ towards, yet another bureaucratic requirement understood it is making all pur lives easier.

That you can't set-up tasks for Non-Users. Workaround possible with using the text.

Benchmark Tool in combining financial tracking/ reporting with project management

Absolutely great experience and due to the Falcon we could increase efficiency by 100% (team before falcon 4 FTE - after Falcon 2 FTE) compared to excel tracking in the past

Stable Tool for Effect tracking & Project Management

As soon as the tool is set up and especially as soon as the PowerBI ins configured, the tool is key in our transformation.

Falcon is a great tool and meets most functionalities managing a PMO. Will be interesting to see further developments in the future

Easy to use and to administrate, in addition usefull slides can be generated which helps to keep all stakeholders informed

Cons:

Within Falcon you cannot create your own reports to analyse a certain sample you want to look at

Pros:

The time to switch from an other tool to Falcon was quickly executed, new users get a hang of Falcon rather easily. The ability to connect Falcon to Power BI to generate custom Dashboards is brilliant. Overall, Falcon is a powerful tool, capable of generating transparency in massive projects, while setting it up requires little time to get used to it.

Cons:

It would be nice if there was a way to sort Topics in the same hierarchy level by an other way than alphabetical/numerical order

Cons:
