The best value PPM Tool

Overall, I really like the product and the team at Proggio are great to work with. The implementation needs investment from any client looking to purchase, but Proggio are very supportive in the set-up process.

Pros:

The user-experience is great, the system is intuitive once you get the hang of it and I like the stack-ranking and 'what-if' scenario modelling.

Cons:

The product cant currently allow you to roll up risks to a programme or portfolio level. We have found a manual work around to this, but it is clunky. Proggio are aware this is a missing feature and hopefully will be resolving in the near future.

Pros:

What we like most is the live and collaborative project planning visualization as a means to managing the project tasks and people.

Cons:

Although it is fairly intuitive to use there is a certain amount of adoption and familiarisation time required in order to get users on board and using the application to increase productivity. It really does require a proactive administrator with good attention to detail to keep the projects uptodate. Tip: Important to remember to manually save snapshots in order to compare 'plan' versus 'actual'.

Proggio is easy to use and allow live manipulation of your plans

Proggio has allowed ability to view and modify our key project plans within our Portfolio. It has allowed integration of key information within the plans.

Initially it takes some time to consider your plans from a different point of view, but once you do this you can open up the potential of Proggio.

The UI is very sensitive, actions can be done by mistake. Takes time to get used to it. There are many useful features that takes time / guidance to discover

Proggio - Scalable Visual Portfolio Management

Overall it was a positive experience dealing with the Proggio team, and they were engaged in supporting our exploration and comparison of different systems. For those companies going through growth periods, Proggio will cater excellently with zero additional cost.

Proggio were one of the only vendors to offer a private server, extremely scalable by offering subscription to modules (not based on user count) and the best visual display of projects through to the portfolio view.

Cons:

In our situation, the costs were prohibitive based on our user count and the user requirements (i.e. modules required). No Teams/Outlook integration, and development required to fulfil user requirements at the time.

Software is pretty, and east to use. Price is low and therefore easily accessible.

Cons:

No detailed tasks can be assigned or tracked. Wish you could create sub tasks and sub-sub tasks to really track projects. Proggio is only good for really high level tasks. Also, very little reporting on % completion or flexibility to sub milestones to tasks .

The platform was developed by people that live and think project management. as such, i was able to find a great environment for managing my teams and their tasks. it gives a global overview of our goals, as well as drill down to single tasks.

Cons:

would be great if it was possible to expand the project map to show all sub tasks. (expand/collapse feature).

My impression from Proggio

we are now migrating ourselves from Excel\Project to Proggio. the process is easy and you could see easily project and project portfolio status.

it's not MS Project!!! it's very intuitive. easy to use and you can see the big picture instead of delving into details. The concept of stream with tasks and sub tasks is excellent

Nothing. I am sure that in the near future it will become a leading tool
