About ODEIS

ODEIS is a retail management solution designed for watch and jewelry retail businesses. It caters to businesses with more than one location. The product is available in on-premise deployment option and runs on Windows operating system. It offers mono and multi point-of-sale (POS), store management, e-commerce and reporting functionalities within a suite.

ODEIS offers e-commerce platform integration with point of sale system, which allows users to manage web orders. The solution also features radio frequency identification (RFID) integration for inventory labeling and lot tracking.

ODEIS features e-commerce management, which allows users to manage product catalog via JShop solution. The integrated POS functionality allows users to manage transactions, inventory, after-sales and customer base. The solution also offers EDI (electronic data exchange), which allows users to exchange data between multiple locations.

ODEIS offers integration with different accounting systems, such as Sage, EBP and CIEL. The vendor also supports multiple countries and currencies.

We took the decision to implement ODEIS 3 years ago, and the software was instrumental to our business development. With 3 stores operating on ODEIS, we managed to reduce our admin time, while improving stock levels and increasing customer focus. Despite very limited support needs, I must say that the hotline is extremely reactive. I highly recommend ODEIS to any jewelry retailer.

Logiciel vieux et dépassé

Mon expérience avec ce logiciel a été extrêmement décevante à la longue. Il est loin derrière les standards actuels en termes d'interface utilisateur, l'interface est archaïque et peu intuitive, navigation est laborieuse, les menus sont mal agencés et les fonctionnalités sont souvent cachées derrière plusieurs clics, ce qui rend l'utilisation du logiciel frustrante et chronophage. Odeis plante quan il y a bcp de données à traiter. Les bogues signalés restent souvent non corrigés pendant des mois, voire des années, ce qui témoigne d'un désintérêt flagrant de la part des développeurs pour l'amélioration du produit.

Cons:

Lent, vieillot, ergonomie inexistante. Chaque action est un défi, même les tâches les plus simples prennent une éternité à exécuter.
