About FortiVoice

FortiVoice is Fortinet's on-premise business VoIP solution that caters to small and midsize businesses across various industry verticals. Features include voicemail, auto attendants, dial-by-name directory, ring groups and more.

In addition to IP connectivity, FortiVoice also supports connections to the public switched telephone network (PSTN). It also offers a SIP trunking service, known as FortiCall, for a single-vendor solution. Administrators can select a VoIP provider certified to work with FortiVoice from a drop-down menu in the administrative interface. The configuration settings for these providers are already pre-populated in the solution.

Additionally, FortiVoice offers multiple call routing possibilities for various extensions. Users can route calls according to a number of rings and whether or not the extension is busy. Users can also screen calls or set an extension to "Do Not Disturb".

Support is offered via phone, email and online FAQs.

A great easy to use VoIP Phone System

Pros:

My team recently deployed Fortivoice to replace our current PBX system and it was very easy to deploy. The GUI is straight forward, but allows for customizability without the added complexity.

Cons:

The only this that I found lacking is only one music on hold sound track comes with the system. I feel that 3-5 tracks should be included.

Reasons for choosing FortiVoice

Cost was a big factor and FortiVoice won by a lot.

Reasons for switching to FortiVoice

The software was out of date and it was hard to configure. Fortivoice makes that easy.
