About Tithe.ly

Tithe.ly is a cloud-based funds collection application and online giving solution designed for churches of all sizes. It offers a mobile app that allows church members to donate funds in a variety of ways and provides reports, alerts and donation tracking. Tithe.ly offers products for Church Giving, Apps, Sites, and Events, as well as an all-inclusive church management suite. The platform facilitates digital giving, custom church website building, church app creation, events management and more.

Users can use Tithe.ly to create a custom church app or church website using logos, graphics and brand colors. Mobile giving options include fund transfer using saved cards, automated recurring giving, ACH payments, credit or debit card donations, a text-to-give feature and an option that allows members to cover their transaction fee. Churches can also set up a mobile kiosk to enable visitors to donate funds without setting up an account.

Donors have access to records of all their contributions and the iPhone app can send weekly giving reminders to donors. Administrators can enter large gift amounts manually, customize the text that appears on donors' credit card statements and set up...

Pros:

The fact that it is clean and easy to use. The integration with QuickBooks was a massive plus.

Cons:

Some of the integration issues need to be resolved. It does record exactly how I would. But it works. A kiosk version with tap and swipes would be awesome.

I hope to stay with Tithely until retirement!

Overall I would say this is a product hard to beat at the price point it is being offered. In addition, it seems things are only getting better as new features are added.

Pros:

All else aside, Tithely is the best giving platform out there for churches. In addition, they include a feature set that is hard to beat. Price is doable for all size churches. The features are immense (pretty much has all you will need). The app and website are easy to create and are attractive to the eye. 2-way messaging is great!

Cons:

Over the years it seems tithely has partnered up with other companies to increase their feature set. Great! What is not so great? Some are still only 1 way integrated, or not integrated at all. At some point ministries need all these features accessible from a singular ecosystem of person data.

Reasons for choosing Tithe.ly

Price played a role somewhat. Mostly, for me, the ability to just sign up and get going without having to sit through a zoom sales call!

Reasons for switching to Tithe.ly

Originally came over from Faithlife as they shut down their church equip features. Went with ChurchBase first, that didn't last as it was an inferior product.

Pros:

Quick and easy to use. I like being able to do this online like I do my online banking.

Cons:

Fees to use each time that either you or the organization you’re giving to has to pay. Also, there are a lot of little extra steps between the app and the online site that handles the money transactions.

Awesome product and budget-friendly

Overall experience has been great. After have a not great experience at a different church with one of the other large companies that offers similar services, Tithe.ly has been breath of fresh air :)

It's easy to use. The full suite of resources in incredibly affordable, especially in comparison with other services out there. It's been a great addition for our church.

Cons:

Website options are limited but understandable since they offer template based sites. Would like to see more analytics info for the app.

Great Product, Great Value

Overall, Tithe.ly is a great value for money and offers great training and customer support. I have received an immense amount of support and guidance as I onboarded with the platform.

Pros:

I love how easily Tithe.ly integrates with our ministries' needs - offering a large array of features. We were able to consolidate many software programs into one, eliminating the need for multiple subscriptions.

Cons:

Tithe.ly's sites feature, while easy to use, isn't as customizable as I hoped it would be. I would like the ability to use my own HTML and CSS on my site, but understand this isn't the target audience for the product.

Reasons for choosing Tithe.ly

The value was Tithe.ly held some of the weight of the decision. While Subsplash seemed to have a great platform. I felt pressured by Subsplash Sales to switch platforms which made me uncomfortable with the decision.

I made the switch because there were too many products to manage. We found that Tithe.ly was able to offer what we need for a great value.

An Honest Review

I truly have enjoyed using Tithe.ly and all the products that it contains. Truly there is no match when it comes to the value for the money. Any time that I have an issue or need help understanding something, the customer support has been excellent. I know this application is ever evolving and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

Pros:

I like how everything is here in one application and the payment processing and donor management is easy to understand. The membership management is also very nice in how everyone has a profile where we can add notes such as allergies or whatever. The new check-in and forms features of Breeze has been phenomenal.

Cons:

While I love everything is here in one application, the navigation can be tough to understand and train people on who are not actively using the software on a daily basis. I know we are about to upgrade to the new Lithely 3.0 which has a new user interface and from images and videos it looks like that will be much easier to understand.

Reasons for switching to Tithe.ly

Clover was not what we needed and did not offer all of the tools that Tithe.ly provides.

Tithe.ly is the best

Amazing. As a church leader, I often get contacted about trying other products, but I can't beat what Tithe.ly offers. Any church, especially small churches, really need to give Tithe.ly a serious look.

What isn't there to like? The All-In Package has everything that a church needs. Their price fits a small church's budget. Their customer support is amazing. I can't say enough good things about Tithe.ly.

Cons:

The level of consumer customization feels limited in some areas. It isn't bad thing, as I realize most small churches don't need a lot of customizing. As someone who like playing and tweeking, I would like to see more, but not that big of a deal.

The price. Other products were either too much, or increased as you grew. Tithe.ly stays the same no matter how big we get. And it has small church in mind. Other products target larger churches

User Friendy: No developer skills needed

Overall we are loving the integration between our Tithely website and online giving. Non-techy members of our staff have no trouble updating the church website now and we don't seat the random code releases breaking our website like we did with wordpress.

We migrated our church website from Wordpress to Tithely and couldn't be happier. Their website builder is SO user friendly and easy to make look clean and professional. Their customer service is also excellent. They're always very responsive.

Cons:

Inserting images into the posts is a bit tricky and not intuitive. Hopefully they will update that process eventually.

YOU SHOULD TRY TITHELY

Overall I am happy with the experience because it is easy for everyone to use basic functions and to figure out if you are training others.

The platform is user friendly once set up by Tithe.ly team. You can customize almost any premade template and it is clean cut, helping others virtually discover the space God has granted you. Good resources for helping you navigate the website. Fun conferences and giveaways keep things interesting as well. Pre-loaded pictures.

Cons:

Processing fees, template designs (you don't have full control on tiles and certain features). Some things are a little complicated on the back end to locate. The monthly cost for using it. Think it should be a little less.

It was the only option at the time and it is the most widely known in the American church space.

I have gleaned more insight and informative ideas from the Tithely newsletter after subscribing to the website. I am so thankful we moved to a more affordable and easily accessed program.

The struggle over getting church members to dowload the App as it is not advertised as being user friendly
