A Great HIPAA compliant messaging App

It's a great tool for a great price that I use regularly. The one time it was malfunctioning customer service was quick to respond and incredibly helpful.

Pros:
Being able to text my clients is a great way to schedule appointments and send reminders. I also love that my assistant has her own extension and can communicate with clients from the same number. I really appreciate that it's cloud based an can be accessed from your personal phone through an app or a desktop computer. The fact that I don't need to carry around two phones anymore has streamlined a lot of my own communication.
Cons:
I do wish that there was a way for HIPAA compliant texting app to receive photos. Many of my patients have tried to use this app to send photos of insurance cards. The more barriers to communication that I can take away the easier it is for them to access services.

Reasons for choosing RingRx

I considered a couple other app based systems. I don't remember their names however RingRx had all the features that I needed for the best price.

Reasons for switching to RingRx

Grasshopper was inconsistent and stopped offering a BAA for HIPAA compliant communication. Their rates were also higher for an inferior product.
