Simple, Intuitive ATS with Great Value

Manatal is a great option for small to mid-sized teams that need an affordable, intuitive ATS without sacrificing key recruitment features. It’s perfect if you value simplicity and quick adoption over complex customization.

Pros:

Manatal is very user-friendly and easy to set up. The interface is clean, and the learning curve is minimal compared to other ATS platforms. The LinkedIn integration and candidate enrichment features are excellent for sourcing. Collaboration tools like notes and pipeline stages make team communication smooth. Plus, the pricing is very competitive for the features you get.

Cons:

Reporting and analytics are basic compared to enterprise-level ATS systems. Customization options for workflows and dashboards could be more flexible. The mobile experience works but could be more polished for heavy use.

We switched to Manatal because our previous ATS was expensive and overly complicated for what we needed. A Compromise Too Far

Overall good but the flaws outweighed the pros and led to us moving on, unfortunately. I do believe that there is no reason to be paying extortionate amounts for some of Manatals competitors and if they could iron out their unweighted boolean search and add a bit more functionality they would have a brilliant product.

Price - it is quite cheap for what you get Design - Slick and simple to learn Kan-ban - Efficient way of managing jobs and processes LinkedIn Plug-In - Again, good value and actually quite a bit more functional than others we have tried.

Cons:

Boolean Search - What's the point of having a big database if it doesn't show you the best matches? Customer Service - We had to ask multiple times to get assistance and overall found the team unresponsive once we were onboard Limited functionality with other integrations.

Read the reviews - Dont waste your time or money

like a repeated issue was that you add the location, it says, united states and the system reads and puts USA and then the job board does not read it and says to fix the error. However, when you go to fix the error, there isn't one. They said to go on and just redo it anyway. Didn't work, I sent a video. They said unpublish it, and then repost it, didn't work, sent a video. they said, to go in and change something, didn't work, sent a video. this has been repeated process for a very long time - now they want me to go in and reconfigure each job and each job board manually and it didn't work. I asked them to do it for me as I do not get paid to troubleshoot their platform and I hadn't been able to post any jobs yet. Their solution is for me to go in and do it again and send them another video so that they can escalate it. do not waste your time and energy as i did - i went back and forth for days at a time and wasted many months and $

I should have read the reviews before using them. The idea is great, $20 bucks to post your jobs on a bunch of job boards.

Cons:

What they don't tell you is that their system and platform is extremely flawed, nothing really works the way it should and when you ask for support, you are given the run around, asked to go in and do things that just do not make sense,

The Kanban view makes candidate management so seamless! Great job board integration, I seldom have to source because of the quality applicants I receive. Their pricing is very fair.

Cons:

I can't retrieve archived jobs, once archived they are gone forever. The process for posting promoted job ads is just too cumbersome.

Improve your efficiency and quality!

It's a simple to learn website. In terms of functionality, functionalities, and interaction with work portals and other HR apps, it covers the basics and adds a little more. Overall, I believe Manatal is one of the most exciting companies in its industry, as it excels at assisting with candidate recruitment and internal cooperation. While it isn't yet at its peak, it is always a pleasure to use and saves time.

Pros:

The software is very easy to use and is guaranteed to produce great results. A candidate tracking system will allow you to save considerable time. The one-click work posting feature appears to be excellent, and the ease with which different social media platforms can be shared does not appear to be time-consuming. The support team is helpful, quick to respond, and proficient at resolving issues. The integrated CRM enables a singular emphasis on recruiting from start to finish of the hiring process.

Cons:

It was absolutely hassle-free. This is very handy since the software makes it possible to interact with and have the service on a digital platform.

Been a Manatal User for Three Years

For what you pay, their customer support is very responsive, but some things you would think would be easy to fix or upgrade aren't being done.

Very inexpensive for what you receive in comparison to other ATS products.

Cons:

I wouldn't say I like their resume parsing, social media enrichment tool, or resume scoring. When they parse the name, they do the full name and do not separate first from last. You have to do that manually. If you send an email to a candidate, it will say; Hi, first and last name. I've asked for the fix over and over, and you would think it would be easy to resolve. Also, the interface itself is bland. I know you get what you pay for, but many other ATS systems have a much better interface and are more intuitive.

The pricing on Manatal was excellent and the other products at the time didn't have much more to offer in comparison.

Will be charged to transfer our data(CVs) added on the software As expensive as the subscription!

The salesperson was super friendly, polite, and persistent while convincing us to buy the software but after we paid for the subscription there was no help to transfer our data from the old ats we used, no help to transfer the CVs from Cpanel to the ATS, infact there was no contact from the manatal team until we approached them for the issues we had. We would never use manatal again, it was a waste of time, money and all the energy of the CVs uploaded which we will never get back unless we pay

They will get you in the end

We had a horrible experience with their staff and support. They are not knowledgeable about their own product. They are quick to assign blame and don't know how to use their own product. They held our data hostage.

I liked the Kanban board approach and the ability to give feedback to my team about the tool. It has a clean interface and they are always adding updates.

Cons:

It has horrible search functionality. The social media AI doesn't work at all. The support team never responds. We were audited and we needed all our data and to get our data, Manatal said it would cost us $900 to download our data. And then they locked us out.

They were cheap and easy to manage. Now I realize that Cheap means they can also be thieves.

Primary Reason: They held our data hostage and wanted $900 to export the data. They are also very unprofessional and clearly have access to the customer's data and peer in whenever they want. If you are working with confidential information, then this company is the worst to work with. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO!!!!

A Streamlined, Effective and Easy to use Recruitment Software

Pros:

As a Recruitment Operations Support at JB Hired, I use Manatal regularly to check and update our candidate pipeline. The software runs smoothly with very few bugs, and managing the pipeline is straightforward. It's also easy to integrate with platforms we use daily, like LinkedIn. Last but least, the customer is there whenever you need it.

Cons:

There’s a built-in refresh button, but I find using the browser’s refresh more intuitive. So whenever I import a candidate from LinkedIn, I have to click the refresh button to reflect the current state.
