Cons:
Atlassin keep insisting on changing the cloud version menu, and to be honest, the new menus are horrible to us,e sadly.

Overall we love it, we use it a lot in our product a tech teams we've found that the customer support is super responsive in getting back to us regarding any software issues which we may have which have been very few.

For us at Collinson, Confluence has become a staple due to a number of reasons. Firstly it's super easy to use and understand and then some of the features and how they have improved over time has been great for us.
Cons:
I don't think it's the cheapest software in terms of what it does it's got a a lot of value but for teams which are large it can become costly.

We found confluence to be a a more scalable solution as we grew into bigger teams with much more data.

Without a doubt the no1 wiki out there.

Love it. Can't imagine working without it. I can dump all my work in there, invoke other users, collab on design, embed Figma and micro board on single pages. It's like my brain in one place.

So fast. It's the industry standard for tech people. Personally nothing does what Confluence does. I've tried all the alternatives and nothing comes close.
Cons:
Other users find it a little hard at time, but with training this can be overcome. The learning curve is steep for low level users.

I like that Confluence is a collaboration platform that allows for document sharing and workflows for routing of documents for review and approval. I like that it integrates seamlessly with JIRA and can be used as the document repository for Agile work, such as bug and issue tracking and release notes. Confluence is a great alternative to using SharePoint in environments where JIRA is used. I have used it to enable client management and customer support by sharing configuration and build documentation with vendors, clients, and customers. Confluence offers excellent value for the money for product development, test, and release teams, and for clients/customers/end users requiring installation, user guides, and troubleshooting notes. I can also be leverage by internal users for similar purposes.
Cons:
Its appearance is more technically oriented vs other collaboration platforms. While it is easy to navigate, it does not offer a lot of the visual appeal that customers, for example, might expect. Still, it functions very well.

Confluence offers the flexibility to update, share, collaborate and contribute on documents. We have our product features and each of its user story created in Confluence with images, diagrams, flowcharts. Users find it extremely easy to use and refer to it whenever required. Moreover, the spaces and sections can be organized to map the relevant user stories to the user journeys.
Cons:
It is noticeable that sometimes, when we are updated a large document with more text, the online version becomes slow. This issue is resolved once we refresh the page. The user experience of the dashboard can improve a bit more.
