Highfive is a cloud-based video conferencing and collaboration solution that provides employees in businesses across various industry verticals a platform to communicate and share information with their colleagues and managers.

Highfive allows organizers and presenters to wirelessly start and manage meetings from their laptops, phone or tablet and share screen with the audience in the room or remotely via Mac, Windows, Chrome OS, Linux and Android devices. Attendees can join the meeting via custom Highfive URLs, which are shared by the organizers.

Highfive also offers users hardware components which can be bought separately from the website and integrate with the solution. These components include wide-angle HD camera, a microphone array and high-fidelity mics.

Additionally, Highfive supports integration with Google Calendar, Outlook and Slack. Services are offered on a per user per month basis that includes support via phone and email.

Good product among video conferencing

Still using this product and I think other than price it is one of best.

Pros

I really like the cloud based system in Highfive. Because of that nearly no lag when video conferencing.
Mobile application is very neat and easy to set up. Don't need any additions support from anyone.

Cons

Pricing is high. Its is not affordable for small companies.
Customer support in website is little bit late. They took two days to contact me again.

Great Tool for Remote Companies

Pros

The tool is very easy to set up and use, and it provides the ability to have meetings in office and include remote employees or persons outside of the organization with ease. The ability to share screens and present is huge even when all are present in the room, so you can collectively work through projects together using one screen.

Cons

Depending on what you're looking for and how big the organization, the pricing can get pretty high! With it being a very effective tool, however, all things should be considered. Otherwise, the tool itself does exactly what it is set out to do, successfully and efficiently.

High Five: Suitable for business calling

Nice tool for remote conferences without distractions.

Pros

It is super easy ti use and you could learn how to handle it in little time.
The sharing screen feature allows you to decide what window will you share, so you don not have to worry about a indiscreet pop up message window to open in the middle of a remote presentation.
And you can use it in your personal computer (desktop or laptop) as well as on mobile devices.

Cons

There could be a slight lag in screen sharing (even with great internet connection), I hope they're working on that. But in general it's a pretty simple and useful software. Nothing major to complain about.

Pros

It is easy to use. Almost too easy to use. If you're used to using software like GoToMeeting this will seem foreign. I do like that users can just click a link and join a meeting through their browser. It's cheap /user

Cons

Not all browsers are supported. Its lacking on the admin side of things if you want to add users and you have to down load extensions in chrome to get it to synch to your calendar, which sometimes worked, sometimes didnt. You have to pay for a year up front and then get a 30 day trial. That seems backwards to me and expensive to test out software. We are in the midst of getting the refund since we will not be keeping the software.

Highfivehelps us to connect with a lot of our remote colleagues and provides face to face interaction and screen sharing capability. Our department is split across to offices one on each coast, and it's easy to start feeling disconnected/independent from each other. High five is used to help bridge that gap giving us the ability to easily have a joint team meeting between the two offices in our respective conference rooms. Its use of screen sharing helps us in being able to provide an easy way to quickly walk through powerpoint presentations or even show the team how to accomplish a particular workflow.

Pros

Highfive is great for connecting with remote colleagues and providing face to face interaction and screen sharing capability. Perfect for companies with multiple offices, or employees out in the field. It's useful even if you don't have remote reps. High Five's screen sharing capabilities provide an easy way to quickly walk through powerpoint presentations or even show the team how to accomplish a particular workflow. Lastly, High five is great for Rick-Rolling your co-workers in other rooms when they least expect it.

Cons

1. Getting Rick-Rolled by your co-workers...
2. High five can at times lag, or run slowly if you or one of the participants in the meeting has slow internet.

Pros

Highfive is great because it's a system beyond just being software. It worked great to setup rooms and has great platform functionality.

Cons

At times we have had issues with the video quality beyond what I've seen from other meeting systems that we've used in the past.

Not very useful for small to medium businesses

Pros

The product allows for easy video conferencing within multi offices where teams are located. The product works well when it is supported by the right infrastructure.

Cons

In the time where it is increasingly difficult to add new hardware to office ecosystems Highfive requires a receiver to be added. In addition to this the solution is not as seamless as most of the other web conferencing solutions which provide video on-demand. Also not the cheapest solution in the market

Web design and speed.

Pros

The strength of HighFive, is definitely the design that has the website and the speed of the video conferences, the truth is that it is a speed that seems like you were talking person to person, and something very fluid and is totally changing the way to communicate.

Cons

I think that the free trial access of this platform should be eliminated, since in several plans they specify free trials and users take advantage of this to not pay the memberships.

My previous company got a free trial and I had the privilege to use this program during one of our daily meetings and the quality of the video was excellent.

For some reason during the meeting it was buffering allot and being slow but when we restarted it, the issue was fixed.

Great video conference tool for internal and external connectivity.

It's great connecting with remote employees to collaborate and even building rapport.

Pros

Very good user interface, well designed and fairly easy to setup (usually). Excellent video and audio quality, both are clear and crisp. Can be used on a desktop PC/Mac or conference room system. High quality equipment is provided by High Five.

Cons

Occasionally it is difficult to connect to a call and 2 or 3 attempts are needed, but the effort is worth it.

Pros

The cam to use on TV is a must and has good quality. The apps work as expected with lots of features such as share screen or move the meeting to the TV

Cons

The best thing about Highfive is that it does not involve all the nonsense necessary from other similar apps. That is why it is my go-to.

Cons

We managed to kept peers more closely when using this software.

It is an amazing tool to allow us to schedule meetings with our peers. It also has a great user experience when dealing with the screen share experience.

Cons

Sometimes the sound quality is not the best possible. We have more than one time identified this issue and after resetting and accessing again to the connection it gets better.

Well worth the money

Ease of use and the amazing audio and video quality

Pros

-Video and Audio quality are industry leading
-Easy to set up
-The new recording feature is fanominal. One-button recording with an instant video link emailed.

Cons

-Square orientation for anyone not using the proprietary camera set up is frustrating as we have many on our team who work together and are forced to each have a laptop open instead of using one computer for the small group.
-It's inhibitive to invite have to download an app to allow somebody to join the call. Allowing in-browser viewing would be better.
-Cost. This is an expensive service and the hardware is not cheap either. It's very high quality but will cost an arm and a leg.
