About Brevo

Brevo is a cloud-based email marketing tool suited for organizations of all sizes. It offers marketing automation, email campaigns, transactional emails and SMS messages functionalities within a suite. Brevo allows users to create mobile-responsive emails using design tools. Users can also schedule and automate marketing campaigns and pre-test messages’ deliverability before sending campaigns. Transactional emails may be sent via Brevo's SMTP service or API. The contact management functionality allows for importing contacts, categorizing lists, collection forms, behavioral forms and more.

Brevo also features reporting, which allows users to create reports on basic statistics, such as open rate, click-throughs and more. Other reporting features include per ISP, exporting results into Excel or PDF and heat maps. Brevo can be integrated with organizations’ websites and management tools. Brevo plugin is also available to be installed with other content management and e-commerce systems such as WordPress, PrestaShop, Drupal, WooCommerce or Magento.

Pros:
I still use th free Brevo plan. It is more than enough for my needs. Ease of use is fine and campaigns are easy to set up.
Cons:
Sames cons as before. Every click opens a link in a new tab Next thing you know you have a browser filled with open tabs

I found Brevo easier to use and if I remember correctly, the pricing fo rmy needs is better.

Mailchimp is too expensive. Also, I hate the interface and find it difficult to navigate.

Easy to use and customise to suit needs of a small not for profit organisation. Support very quick to respond to queries and also to advise of any temporary operational problems. Excellent value for money relative to feature set.
Cons:
Very little to dislike, but would like more granular analysis of clicked links which are available in higher subscription levels, recognising that we still have a very good feature set.

Tried Mailchimp but found it difficult to customise and subscription model not suited to our organisation.

I can't function without Brevo. It handles large chuck of my marketing. It is very easy to use. It is very effective.
Cons:
I can't integrate payments but I think they are working on it as we speak. Looking forward to this new feature

Don't hesitate to use Brevo!

Apart from the two inconveniences mentioned above, which are quite frustrating for me (especially the suspension of campaigns prepared in full compliance with quality standards), my overall experience has been positive and I do recommend Brevo to others. The attractive pricing is also important advantage, especially for the large–scale email sending I need, which has to remain cost-effective.

The advantages of Brevo for me: - attractive pricing compared to similar platforms - very clear interface and ease of use - a responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful support team - high email deliverability
Cons:
I think Brevo has an overly sensitive algorithm related to email deliverability and customer engagement. My campaigns were suspended even though the open rate was between 25–41%, and I had to contact support for assistance. I should note that in my campaigns I use only contacts from my own list, validated both with an external tool and manually. Another inconvenience is the “campaigns in review” process — the resulting delays in sending are unfavorable from a conversion standpoint, because emails don’t reach recipients during peak open-rate hours. I strongly recommend improving this. I never had this issue with Mailchimp.

I chose Brevo because it offers much more attractive pricing compared to similar platforms, which is especially important for large-scale email sending. The interface is very clear and easy to use, making daily work smooth and efficient. I also appreciate Brevo’s responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful support team, as well as the platform’s high email deliverability, which ensures that my campaigns reach their recipients reliably.

Reasons for switching to Brevo

I switched to Brevo from MailChimp because MailChimp had become too expensive, especially for large-scale email sending. Brevo offered a much more affordable pricing structure for the volume I needed.

This is by far the most user friendly software I have ever had. It has everything you need. Even the free version is quite great. Comparing with others, the paid version is very acceptable.
Cons:
So far I did not have any negative comments to do, As living in Portugal and being native, Portuguese language for Portuguese could be a great asset.

Pros:
Switched to Brevo after an insane price hike at Mailchimp and I have to say: i wish I'd done it earlier. Not only is it cheaper, the whole design set-up is a lot more intuitive than it's competitor.
Cons:
Sometimes for no reason, a campaign gets suspended while I'm not a spammer and I get my lists with approval from my costumers. Copying the campaign does help though.

It is very easy to set up email automation for new subscribers. The free plan is generous for sending daily emails. I like the simple drag and drop editor.
Cons:
The customer support takes long time to reply. Sometimes my emails go to spam folder even if list is clean. The interface feels a little bit old fashion compared to others.
