It is a great collaborative workspace to manage projects. Previously, we used Excel and Word to track projects, but now we don’t use them at all with our assimilation of SmartSheets into our company.
Cons:
The “visual” is not particularly appealing, but easy to get used to. Meaning, it isn’t flashy and very “Excel” like, but we adjusted.

Smartsheet is just a smarter version of excel, anyone with knowledge of excel can get started with it. Combining task management with Gantt Chart and card views is really a good to have thing.
Cons:
Obviously it is great tool to manage heavy data and figure out some answers to your questions from that data but for some non tech users it can get a little unproductive. Also some nice features like resource management etc are restricted with pricey upgrade.

Cons:
I wish there was an app for it. I only login through the Webb and I’m not sure if there’s an app that supports this system. I’m not sure if the system also has reminders because that would be a good feature to use.
