ACR Point-of-Sale Software

A trusted partner since 1975, ACR Systems offers industry-proven, on-premise retail software. More than just a Point-of-Sale system, ACR provides a complete and flexible total store solution that grows with your business.

The robust POS has just about every feature that retailers could need to compete in today’s marketplace. It supports multiple payments, multiple currencies, age verification, tax exemptions, employee time clock, rental management, and more. It easily interfaces to existing systems and third-party applications, so retailers have the flexibility to integrate features like coupon-printing, gas pump interface, labor scheduling, and more. In addition to a comprehensive POS, ACR Point-of-Sale features integrated applications for Inventory Management, Customer Relationship Management, and Retail Accounting.

Choose from ACR certified manufacturers of PCs, peripherals, and servers to save on upgrade components, replacement parts, and maintenance; ACR has a vendor-neutral open systems approach that allows users to design a custom hardware solution.

We think that many retailers will agree that this reliable solution is easy to use. It’s a great fit for grocery stores, convenience stores, liquor stores, as well as stores that sell clothing or shoes. A company with as few as one or as many as ten locations can benefit from ACR Systems’ decades of experience providing retail solutions. They also offer reliable 24/7 customer service.

limited font end applications. we are a supermarket and would have liked to do special promotion for our customers. we found it be be limited on the promotions that we would have liked to do. Had to use a 3rd party to do DSD and Inventory Control. Would have been nice to have it all in one package.

Recommendations

If you are looking for a solid font end system that you are just going to do just typical promotions with, this is one of the best companies we have dealt with. How-every if you are looking to do Customer promotions that get complicated, this software we found was a bit limited.

The functions are intuitively obvious. Little training is required.

It's seems to be a bit old-fashioned in design.

Definitely run a trial for at least 30 days before committing.
