ACR has a vendor-neutral open systems approach that allows users to design a custom hardware solution. The solution interfaces to existing systems and third-party applications, so retailers have the flexibility to integrate features like coupon-printing, gas pump interface, labor scheduling, and more.

    With the low cost of it you have an excellent application, of course with its limitations since you can not demand much

    Cons

    It is not customizable and you have to adapt to it since it is a bit limiting, you can not ask so much for a low price

    The customer service offered 24/7 comes in handy for late night problems or over the weekend problems.

    Pros

    It's great that this software has been a trusted partner since 1975 so that shows it's a great software with many great things. There is just about every feature that retailers could need in the marketplace today that is reliable and easy to use.

    Cons

    The one bad thing about this software would be that the only supported operating system is Windows 8.

    Very stable software. Front end was very easy to use and flexible.

    Cons

    limited font end applications. we are a supermarket and would have liked to do special promotion for our customers. we found it be be limited on the promotions that we would have liked to do. Had to use a 3rd party to do DSD and Inventory Control. Would have been nice to have it all in one package.
