Ease-of-use

It's easy for a person who knows computers. However, there are a lot of places you can't type in.

Functionality

The Doc doesn't like the grayed boxes. It doesn't allow him to enter information in the blanks provided.

I've said all that I had to say about the program.

It takes them to long to get back with you when you have a problem.

I don't like the timeframe it takes when you chat or send in a request to have something fixed. The wait time is too long.

Recommendations

Check the hold time when you have an issue and how many clicks the Doc has to complete a note.

The product is user-friendly, and the training videos are helpful.

Functionality

Overall, the product meets our needs. We are a small, one-office, one-hospital group. I’m not sure how the product would function for a multi-specialty or multi-location high volume setting.

Product Quality

We like having the PM and EHR in one software solution.

Customer Support

The only issue I have, from a billing office perspective, is the technical support response times. They need some help in that department. It seems like I get the same two techs, who are helpful, but it takes a few days to resolve issues. Our implementation team was great and very patient.

I like the implementation team, the ready-to-use templates, and the training videos.

I dislike the technical support response times. This could be an easy fix.

Recommendations

I would recommend understanding exactly what you need during each of the implementation phases. Having a good implementation team (on both sides –practice and software) that understands your specialty can make a big difference for a smooth transition.

Ease-of-use

It does not require lot of time to learn. I was able to use it in no time, except I needed support due to my mistakes.

Functionality

Need to discuss the templates, but support is prompt.

Product Quality

It covers most of what I need to be in the patient history, and if need more, support is always there.

Customer Support

Whenever I need it, I find it. The technical support is always a call away. I have great experience with our rep, who is always very gracious, and folks abroad also need to be recognized for their prompt and excellent service. At times, it may take repeat calls to get help, but this is an exception rather than a rule.

It's relatively easy to use and has good support.

Sometimes, the labeling is an issue, and repeating the same becomes redundant.

Recommendations

Go for it. It is easy to use, and there is willingness on part of Bizmatics to help create templates for your needs. I believe it is less expensive compared to others, as well.

It's user-friendly by how easy things are to find and by the speed of the software.

Printing prescriptions is complicated and frustrating when a line of PT need prescriptions that we can't print.

Read everything before you think your lost. It's easy to get confused if your not reading everything twice.

Overpromised and under-delivered

I am very experienced, and I know where I should be able to find things and how things should work. I found it very frustrating because of my experience. Items did not flow logically.

Functionality

The product needed several enhancements in order for us to move forward. They oversold and under-delivered.

Product Quality

The product was dated and not customizable with development issues.

Customer Support

We never got out of implementation; in fact, we never got to a solid go live date.

Likes Best

Attorneys were listed as a contact rather than the guarantor or insurance company. They stated they were iPad-ready and iPad-friendly.

The overall functionality did not make sense. The EHR did not seamlessly interact with the PM. Duplicate entry of pertinent data was necessary. The field labels were not named correctly or absolutely did not make sense. It was apparent the product was not built by user or provider input.

Recommendations

It seems like the product was built by engineers with no medical background or working knowledge. There's incorrect terminology and incorrect labeling. The workflow was all over the place. Ask for a trial before you commit.

The interface is very user-friendly. It combines all separate services into one, like emailing, faxing, scheduling, etc.

It's convenient. There's no need for paper files. Like I said above, it combines several different operations into one system, which increases the productivity of the office and allows my job to be easier.

The quality is overall good, but there are some things that need to be fixed, like the ones mentioned above.

They're very easy to talk to and communicative. I have called on several occasions, and they were able to assist me promptly and with ease.

I appreciate the simplicity of the system, and when there are issues, I appreciate the customer support in dealing with such issues.

Sometimes, faxes do not go through, which can be inefficient and annoying.

Recommendations

It has been problematic that we can only review insurance activity up to one week prior. This hinders office productivity, since it would be more efficient to review insurance activity 2-3 weeks ahead of time.

Everything you need has its own tab that is easy to find, making it a lot faster than other programs.

As far as patient scheduling and filing goes, this definitely meets all my needs.

It's very fast and up to date. The text could be a bit larger, but other than that, it's fine.

They have excellent customer support. They are always there to help. If not on the phone, you can reach them through email.

I love everything about this product. I have used several programs, and no other program compares to PrognoCIS. This program can be used by urgent cares and primary doctor offices. This is an ideal program.

It's worth trying, especially if you have a desktop computer. Those seem to have no problems - or at least not as many. But it does the things we need it to do at our office.

Sure script is difficult, and the inability to identify patients by their birthdays when we have to search for a patient under CPOE for refill slows us down.

Don't use it if you write a lot of Rxs. You have to choose from a drop-down menu that was not made for gyno Rxs. It doesn't give all the choices we need, and we can't write the info ourself.
