Evaluating software is difficult, and everyone has their own opinions on each product as far use, efficiency, and cost are concerned.

Excellent product that meets my needs as a physician. There isn't a complicated interface so it is user friendly for me and the rest of the staff.

Likes Least

It tends to crash frequently, and it may take time to work again. Sometimes it is frozen and the information gets lost.

Recommendations

Use every single option available and be throrough.

My doctor and assistants can update my files, and I have access to them, as well as being able to correspond with them.

Maybe that there is too much information regarding me that is out there on the internet.

Recommendations

Look at the positive side of being able to interact with doctors and assistants with questions that would need answers but that are not of an emergency type of nature.

Friendly and responsive, they are always there when I have any questions and get back to me quickly.

Likes Least

Training program is lacking and could be better, but they just need more reps so they can do face to face training.

Recommendations

Keep an open mind, use it for a few weeks before you make a decision to keep it or not, or to work out the bugs.

It is nice to be able to access test results, but since the patient does not know how to interpret them, this is of limited utility.

Likes Least

The impersonal and inflexible nature of it. The use of it is not very transparent to the patient, and it is not clear how the patient can use it to improve communications with the physician.

Recommendations

I would recommend that the potential buyer actually try interacting with the software as both a physician and a patient, with various scenarios in mind (obtaining test results, requesting follow up with the physician/patient etc.).

This product is designed perfectly for physician relations. I was a little skeptical when my client said they were moving forward with the Marketware CRM because they aren't a typical CRM, but it has everything that we have needed in developing reps and a strong program. With other clients, we have used other CRMs, but to get those CRMs to fill the needs of a hospital, we have had to do a lot of customizing and working with other vendors to get the program to do what we need it to do. Marketware has had almost all of what we need and has worked out well for us so far.

There is a little learning curve to effectively use the program, and some of the reports are a little slow but once you know what you are doing, it works well.

Recommendations

To avoid a longer than necessary learning curve, become well-trained during implementation.
