ProsperWorks is a cloud-based customer relationship management tool that gives users complete views of their customers. The program is applicable to any industry, including advertising, distribution and real estate.

The ProsperWorks solution includes email integration, opportunity management and lead tracking among its features. Customer data is saved automatically, and the system independently searches online to find relevant data. Every file that is sent via email is immediately stored in a contact’s portfolio, and the system profiles each interaction so users know how recently they have contacted each customer.

Past and future calendar events, such as meetings and calls, are logged within the program, and the software also suggests possible contacts to make based on previous correspondence. Through the program’s email integration, tasks are visible in Gmail, and the opportunity management feature allows users to visualize and manage their sales pipelines with drag-and-drop functionality.

Interface to gmail is very good alongside tracking of opportunities

you cannot send emails within prosperworks, having to switch out of the programme defeats the objective of having automatic interface to gmail !, particularly more annoying when using the mobile app, could be a showstopper to some.

It instantly connected social media connections with an email address.

It is not that easy to add and delete options from the CRM profile of each individual, even with an Excel file uploaded. It is also not that easy to update a person's file as basic keyboard function switch (like Tab to the next field) did not work. It was a lot of clicking with the mouse to get where I wanted.

It is tied directly to Google Mail, so all relevant emails are linked to contacts and opportunities. Also, ProsperWorks can automatically obtain contact information based on email address and this information can be used to create new contacts.

Customer support is limited. I have not used the reports much yet, simply because I have not had the time to teach myself. Before committing to purchase the software, the sales person was very helpful. After purchasing the software, it is difficult to get a response to questions.

Recommendations

Get as much information as possible from the sales person before buying the software, because once you purchase it, you will have difficulty getting more training.

I like best that I have a visual of all of our transactions. I can see exactly where everyone is in the process without having to click into each transaction individually.

I don't like that the coolest features this program offers can only be use when using Google Chrome. I typically like internet explorer better.

Recommendations

I recommend to talk to their reps for any questions you may have. This software has many cool features but some you will only if you talk to them directly. Take full advantage of this program!

Prosperworks CRM is incredibly intuitive to use. The integration with Gmail is also a huge plus for us since our services are Google-based. The service surrounding this software has also been incredible! Everyone we have worked with has been very informative and prompt in responding to concerns.

Through Prosperworks's simplicity, we encountered certain limitations with integration into other softwares like Mailchimp. Prosperworks lacks the ability to fully integrate and is only capable of reporting against data from Mailchimp.

Recommendations

If you strictly need a workflow, project, customer resource software that gives you a more organized and intuitive way to track these processes, then prosperworks is perfect for you. If you need a robust software with highly configurable features, I'd explore other softwares.

What I liked least about the product/vendor was the limited number of videos and examples from real world nonprofits. Vendor did good job providing examples but videos would have really helped. This would help a newbie get up to speed alot quicker and would aid in new staff getting trained.

Reviews help- read them- also trial them - and make sure you know what you want to do with the software. prices are all over the map.

I like the cooperation with google. It uses the search engine in a lot of ways, and makes life easy. I also enjoyed working with the sales team. They are honest and straightforward about their offering.

It is learly designed to keep the sales team up to date on current events, but I need quick and easy access to a lot of info about the clients. I prefer not to scroll or look on extra tabs to find personal or professional info.

It is integrated into Gmail, which what is what we use for work, which makes it super efficient.

It keeps leads and current contacts on separate lists. Also, it isn't possible to convert a contact to a lead. We didn't know about the leads feature and jumped the gun, so a few hundred people are currently listed as current contacts.

Recommendations

I would definitely do a trial run first. You really need to get into it and familiarize yourself with CRMs.

Mostly it's my own team that's the challenge...they don't like that I have access to their email with our prospects/clients!
That said, it would be great if you could actually open and reply to email within the PW application. For now you can only read what's already transpired, but have to switch back to an open Google window to respond.

Recommendations

Gmail integration (in spite of minor complaints above) is an enormous benefit and time-saver. Also the level of customization required is minimal; it really is designed to do what we need it to do and isn't cluttered up with a lot of extra things I don't need, or require a lot of jury-rigging or workarounds.

ProsperWorks is very easy to learn and has a beautiful, interactive interface. It is drag and drop and is intuitive. It also has the modern features like syncing up with one's email and quickly matching the email with the prospect/opp.

I didn't have anything I really disliked about it. I did get confused one time when I was moving opps into a 'won' category for a particular sales project, while I still wanted to see the opp in the pipeline view.

Recommendations

Having used both SalesForce and ProsperWorks, I do now see how CRMs really are made with particular needs in mind. I don't think SalesForce is a great fit for a new small business with a limited number of leads to reach out to, however it is very powerful for large lead generation and expandability. PropserWorks for a small business keeping track of leads and opps I think it is great. Very easy to learn. Very intelligent software.

Its is easy to integrate, simple to use. Great features to integrate with your google business account. From adding contacts, to tracking opportunities, to customizing for individual needs. Also, you never feel stuck in any of its stages, because there is always someone you can contact, who is not only quick to responding to you, but is also cheerful and excited to help you get the best out of this application. The one thing that is the best is real time personal response great customer service. They listen to what the customers ideas are on implementing new things, and their team makes it happen, as best they can.

If you work on google then this is the perfect tool for you. You won't be sorry. After many try outs with other very frustrating programs that didn't work, are very hard to get up and running, and no customer service response. If you want a user friendly program, this would be it, no hassle, not complicated.

Prosperworks CRM has integrated seamlessly with our Gmail hosted emails. The ease of integration and use has been phenomenal in ensuring that we were able to get this up and running with no work stoppage. The support from the staff prior to selecting Prosperworks and after purchase has been absolutely wonderful. Having the Prosperworks sidebar on my Gmail inbox makes it quick and easy for me to check what tasks are coming up, and I was able to integrate it with my calendar, so that I get reminders through my Google calendar when I have tasks due.

I haven't quite figured out how to best work the reports feature and for some reason we haven't been able to get it to accurately show the number of open opportunities we have.

Recommendations

Make sure you are aware of integration with your systems. Some of the other CRMs I evaluated did not allow for easy transfer of information. With Prosperworks, any email I send to a contact is tracked and saved in Prosperworks, so those of us who use it are able to see what contacts have had activity and whether we are receiving responses. Other CRMs require you to manually forward or carbon copy the emails into them.

Definitely evaluate more than two CRMs to ensure that the CRM you choose works best for your organization (can't recommend Prosperworks any higher - it's really, really fantastic)

Prosperworks is designed as software should be—it's intuitive. It's not only simple to use, it has a beautiful UI. And if you don't like the standard, out-of-the-box setup, you can easily customize it to your sales process and business.

Unlike other CRMs, it integrates with Google Apps. So every email that you send via Gmail, it automatically associates each communication with the contact you have in Prosperworks. One other thing to add, if you schedule a follow up task, it's added to your calendar. This was huge because we're begin on 'calendaring" all of our time.

My agency tried Pipeline Deals, Highrise, Pipedrive, Sharpspring, we even tried making a custom solution, which turned out to be a nightmare.
