Built specifically for physical therapists, chiropractic offices, acupuncturists and other holistic practices, The Digital Office by EON Systems consists of three independent programs that, when combined, provide a completely integrated, fully certified system to manage the practice, scheduling, EHR, billing, x-rays and document storage.

The Digital Office comes with enough functionality to support multiple-site facilities and offices with very sophisticated needs, but remains simple enough for cash practices and individual providers. The software is flow-sensitive, meaning it follows the natural flow of a streamlined practice and encourages users to work more efficiently.

The Digital Office includes three separate packages. The Practice Solution includes scheduling, billing and practice management. Here it is possible to utilize both direct and electronic billing, enter multiple claims for each patient, control inventory, analyze statistics and even manage correspondence. An Insurance Follow-Up Center allows users to see which claims are due for each insurance company, by patient and claim, with notes on actions taken and actions necessary plus the ability to batch re-bills and tracers with the click of a button. A digital sign-in pad is also available.

The Documentor includes EHR, SOAP note, narrative and report writing capabilities and is ONC-ATCB certified for meaningful use. You can see the note being written in real time while selecting options and entering data. Providers can customize both the input panel and the notes to include personal wording preferences, while also randomizing any statements in SALT (same as last treatment) recreations.

Document Solution stores digital x-rays and any other scanned documents or images, organized by patient, and can also send and receive faxes and emails.

Before we got The Digital Office we were using Grey Cat. What a difference! The Digital Office has streamlined everything and we saw a huge increase in over counter patient collection as a result. I am the Office Manager and am now able to do other functions, like promoting for new patients, instead of being buried in billing and insurance follow-up.

The training was easy and one-on-one and the trainer, Pierre, was an absolute delight.

The software makes my job so much easier and makes the office look so much more professional from the patient standpoint.

The company has been very professional, honest and reliable.

Since our inception in 2001, Central Mountain Physical Therapy started with EON Systems right out of the gate, and we feel fortunate in our choice as we have not had to make any changes to our electronic practice needs in the 10 years we have been in business. The tech support has always been outstanding and as a company they have always grown with the times; they're never stagnant.

We are a private practice outpatient physical therapy facility that started to use electronic documentation, The Documentor, a module within The Digital Office, when it was first introduced in 2005. Since then it has grown with our practice, and EON Systems has worked closely with us to develop a Physical Therapy Note set that is so specific to a PT practice, making this particular note set very efficient without having to make a lot of changes when modifying it to your practice's unique needs. You could easily implement this electronic documentation system in just a few months, whereas, when we started to use Documentor in 2005, it was more chiropractic-based and it took us a whole year just to design our own physical therapy evaluation templates within the Documentor to fit the physical therapy model of our practice. We designed physical therapy templates specific to each diagnosis to help streamline and reduce the number of choices within any given evaluation, progress report or soap note, making it flow as quickly as possible.

Another great feature of the Physical Therapy Note set, within The Documentor is that it has the ability to immediately pull data such as ROM measurements and goals (to name a few) from previous progress notes and evaluations, saving valuable time in having to run manual comparisons for progress. The PT note set is also designed to help your documentation survive an audit as long as your practice continues to attend either the APTA webinars and/or your state's reimbursement seminars in order to implement the yearly changes with respect to documentation requirements and reimbursement issues.

Simply stated, The Documentor in The Digital Office can very easily streamline your practice to the greatest efficiency possible while keeping you and your staff in compliance to the latest updates and changes in the ever changing electronic healthcare world.

As the president of Allied Healthcare Associates, P.A., I had the task of finding a method of recording and managing patient records and claims for a wide variety of patients. The time had arrived to leave the pen and paper note taking and billing in the past.
Seven years ago, there were no programs that would allow for all of the records and billing information of an Oriental Medical Practice to be contained and coordinated under one program.

We began negotiations with EON Systems in hopes of finding a program that would allow for the modification of an existing program to the unique needs and demands of the practice of Oriental Medicine. At EON Systems, I found a team of experts that were willing and able to use their established software to challenge the many needs and demands of my daily practice.

The result was the development of the Documentor program that worked with the Practice Solution Practice Managment software. This combination of software became a system of data management that allowed the complex issues of my practice to be dealt with in a professional manner. A strong point of this system is the fact that it is easy to modify to meet the constantly changing demands that are made on all medical practices. As the demands from insurance and government agencies increased, it was possible to modify the system.

Seven years later, Allied Healthcare Associates continues to use the EON Systems programs. We have been able to increase the number of doctors within our office and the system has been able to meet the needs of the main office and two satellite locations. As the office grew we had to increase the support staff and it is important to note that the new staff were able to be up and running in the system with minimal training. Remaining current with updates and technical support is a simple matter of going online and dealing directly with the EON System's website.

This medical office has remained a strong supporter of EON Systems, because they have been such a strong supporter of the needs and demands of our practice. EON is open to new ideas to improve the system and they are quick to jump on any changes that we might have in mind. The involvement of EON's staff with this office has lead to many improvements in the software.

This Oriental Medical Practice is only a few clicks away from having the most current and effective method of dealing with all of the constant changes of regulations, laws and insurance company procedures. Since going with Eon Systems, compliance has not been a worry.

We have a multidisciplinary clinic with multiple locations and providers. We have to manage multiple providers in multiple locations, all of whom need different things. It was difficult to keep track with all of these variables. It was a headache, and I was spending more time pushing papers than I was treating patients. I was at my wits' end.

An old friend from school had had enough of my whining and suggested the TPS system. I was hesitant due to the cost and time involved in a switch-over, but with a gentle nudge from my friend, I went whole hog.

I have TPS, Documentor and The Document Solution. It is not a small undertaking to make this kind of switch. The staff had to work a few Saturdays, and I was here before work and stayed late after work for a few weeks. EON staff was great answering questions and holding our hands. It took effort, but I am running a paperless office just like they advertise!

I have been using TPS and its system for 3 years. It is all they advertise it to be. I have been very happy and lots of my old friends from school are getting that nudge from me now.

Pros- Complete; Customizable; Staff Support

Cons- Learning Curve. A program this comprehensive and customizable takes time to master. You can make it work with minimal effort but it will sit up and dance if you let it.

I remember starting in practice 24 years ago - just me, one staff member and zero computers. Someone stopped in and said, "You could be a lot more efficient with insurance if you had a computer instead of typing claim forms."

Boy, was he right. With The Digital Office, we were able to do in hours what it took us a month to do. We rocked along for years using different systems of patient documentation, from dictation to travel cards. We were pleased with insurance submittal from our software company, but when we had an audit by Medicare we found we were lacking in the documentation department. My travel card was sufficient for me to treat, but not for them for reimbursement.

Since our software company could not fulfill my needs for documentation, we started looking for a company who could and came across EON Systems.

We are thrilled to know that I can now produce SOAP notes, exams and correspondence in minutes. When we had a Blue Cross standard audit, they said, "I wish everyone had notes like these."

I have been using the documentor since 2004. I have a constantly evolving practice using many different chiropractic techniques, nutrition and therapies, and I can customize my documents accordingly. Implementation was simple, and the learning curve was not bad even for an old dog. Thanks, EON, for your innovation and amazing product. I practiced with it before but wouldn't want to be without it now.
