Medios EHR is a web-based system that facilitates access to patient records through an Internet browser on a number of different web-enabled devices. Included in the system are communication portals for patients and partners, which allow medical professionals to easily contact patients and third-party providers. The Patient Portal has specific functions for appointment requests, updates for allergies and medications, and other necessities. Medios EHR is ONC-ATCB 2014/2015 compliant. It is officially a Complete EHR, formally certified by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT).
As a scalable solution, Medios EHR can be a fit for many different practice sizes. It can also serve the needs of a wide range of medical specialties. The system is fully integrated with Medios PM (Practice Management) as well, allowing a seamless flow of information between the two systems. The system is kept current and up-to-date through inclusive system upgrades - not only in terms of functionality, but also in terms of industry and government compliance. The system’s open platform encourages integration with third-party system applications to increase visibility across all relevant data.
Medios EHR’s integrated “Meaningful Use” dashboard can keep track of a medical practice’s compliance with ONC Standards. In addition, a workflow module keeps track of patient progress all the way from the first check-in to the final payment. System-provided audit logs on patient record activity ensures full HIPAA compliance at all times.
Medios EHR’s Appointment Scheduler makes calendar updates and appointment management much easier, while helping with insurance eligibility checking as well. The software’s document management system allows it to receive incoming faxes and lab results directly, keeping the relevant documentation fully accessible and organized. I like how they train and support their product. Medios is backed by real people who care. We have gotten my practice to a point of efficiency that I never thought possible. My notes have been customized for me, which means I go home on time. Since being trained with Medios, I have never had to stay late doing notes.
I do wish they were local to me. It's not that they haven't serviced my office with a concierge-like service; I just like to deal with local companies.
Take a leap of faith and only deal with a company that cares. Contracts are only as good as the people behind them, and I promise you these are the best. Medios held my hand the entire way and went to great lengths to make sure I was taken care of.

Medios EHR is easy to use and understand. I can finish notes with just a few clicks. On top of that, it is the most adaptable system I have ever used. They also have great support and will go beyond all normal means to make your practice happy.
I just wish I had found them earlier. They've gone out of their way to make my office happy; there's nothing bad I can say.
Give Medios a try. Great software aside, their staff goes out of their way to make sure your needs are met. Realistically, there is probably other software out there that can meet your basic needs, but I will assure you from my experience, there is no company that has service like these guys.

For starters, their entire operation is in the US. Nothing is outsourced. Aside from the obvious reasons why that's important, it's really amazing what they can do with the software. They integrate with different labs and machines that my other EHR failed at. By the way, they did all that for free for me. They have never left me alone throughout my time with them (two years) and have given me complete VIP access, even though I'm a smaller single physician practice. This system has made my life easier; everyone in the office has more time. Their tools/features make everything so simple. I know very little about Meaningful Use, but with Medios and their support, I was able to attest. Not only was I able to attest, but their staff helped me out every single step of the way. These people have really earned my respect, and that's not something I throw around lightly.
The price is really fair, and it's a really good system. They've done so much for me, there's really nothing I can complain about.
Pricing isn't everything. Don't try and save $50 or $100 and take ten steps backwards with a bad system. Medios is priced right in the middle, and they include all of their features in a flat price. For the amount of time and money this system has saved me, I would gladly pay double the monthly fee. The system more than paid for itself in two months! There's a quality factor here that I didn't see elsewhere. Couple that with their human touch where every client is a VIP, and you have one incredible company.

I'm the office manager of a medium-sized pain management organization. Medios is easy to use and is backed by great trainers and support. They go through a real implementation, and training is live and one-on-one. This is the only system we reviewed that does this. Everyone else skimps or relies on videos for instruction. During the implementation, they customized our templates. And this was real customization. Not just adding or removing a few items from a standard note. I was elected as the superuser and oversaw the entire implementation, so I have a good understanding of their process. It was like an exact science. Everything was planned out perfectly and handled with utmost care. All I can say is all three of our physicians are completely happy with Medios.
The only problem is that we didn't find them earlier. Here's the reality with this system: it's a really great EHR and has a great team behind it. It's hard to say you like something least when these guys did everything to make us happy. If there was an issue, it was typically very minor, and we always had resolution almost immediately.
There are so many companies out there. Do not waste your time with any company that does not offer 24/7 support, does not have US-based support, limits implementation, isn't Stage 2 certified, or does not put things in writing. Just use that basic list as a starter.

Its a great software that really works. This is my fifth EHR. Please trust me when I say that I know what I'm talking about. It's really easy to use, and their staff is top-notch. This is the only company I did a demo with whose sales, support, development, and everything is 100% US-based.
Not much. Like everything else in life, I'm sure there's room for improvement. But in all honesty, Medios is a really phenomenal product.
Don't be sold by price or a slick sales guy. In my last two EHRs, they flat out lied to get me to sign the contract. Pay attention to the details; make sure what your seeing in front of you is the real system and not some mock/play environment.

Everything about this vendor is great. We have used a few EHRs, and some have been unbearable. Medios is the only one I've used that has the entire package. It's truly phenomenal software (I'd even compare it to being as good as apple), along with phenomenal people to back it up and support it.
Nothing, absolutely nothing. You can tell this company is run with the idea of software and client first.
At this point, after having used four systems, I highly recommend Medios. It's easy, cost-effective, and they will meet your needs.

Everything. Everything. Just everything. The process started out with implementation, which was such a smooth, painless process. They guide and train you through everything. There's no fumbling around trying to figure things out. My implementor was a 10 out of 10. She was professional, intelligent, and even set us for Meaningful Use (which we already got back). There's a lot of thought and effort that went into building Medios. I've been really blown away by how easy it is and the way it has improved our practice.
There's nothing I like least about this product or vendor.
Obviously, my recommendation is for Medios. I have referred 3 of my friends, and Medios has not let any of us down. All of those practices are really happy with it. They go above and beyond for you. They took care of stuff for me that I know no other company would have done.

Medios is a full practice EHR that runs our entire practice. The major plus is that it is so easy to use. Everyone on the staff (even the old guys) uses this system with ease. They took their time with me to customize the templates and everything works on my iPad/iPhoneG. This process really works! It works because their software is good, their employees are smart, and they genuinely care about the success of my practice. I cannot say enough good things about Medios and their employees.
I wish they were local; at least, I did at first. But there have not been any issues as far as support goes. If I need something at 1 AM, I just call in and can speak to someone in their office.
Learn from what we did. We did over a dozen demos and hours upon hours of research. The conclusion I came to was such: Medios outshined all the other systems I looked at.

I really love their ability to get things done. Even though we are on the opposite sides of the country, my implementation went super smooth. Regardless of what time I called or needed someone, someone was always there for me. Their support is not outsourced, either; even if you just call their main line, whoever answers really knows their stuff. On top of that, it's just a really excellent EHR. This company has the best of both worlds: a first class EHR with first class support.
What can I say that's bad? I'm happy happy with these my decision to be with IOS Health Systems.
Do your homework, and don't just pick the cheapest system. If you're serious about your practice, look into an EHR that has a real company structure backing it. An EHR is only as good as the company supporting it. Mandates, Rules, and Meaningful Use are constantly changing, and you need a company that's going to stay ahead of the curve, not just doing the minimum upkeep of being certified. Don't get too wrapped up with what "certified" means. Just because systems are certified, that does not make them equal in form or function. Systems that are total opposites can qualify for certification (I reviewed the process, and it's very open to interpretation as what constitutes certified). The more time I spend with IOS, the more I realize that they are a highly organized, professional, smooth-operating organization.

The EHR is really good. Their templates are really easy to use as well. They have stuff that I've never seen in other systems. I work approximately 40% quicker with Medios than I did my last system. The tools are really great, and they even assisted me with preparing for meaningful use. Talk about above and beyond!
With everything they have done for me, theres nothing "least" I like.
Don't go out and see 100 demos like I did. It all just gets muddy with a bunch of systems that shouldn't have been considered. There are a lot of us out here using Medios. There's really no need to look elsewhere.

After searching for a while, I landed with Medios. What do I like best about them? They made my life easy. The overall experience, training, software, support, everything was just easy. That's what I like best.
They've done so much for us, theres nothing I like "least" about it.
An EHR is not just a computer program. You need support, service, and the ability for that EHR to grow. I'm sure there are cheap and free EHRs out there. You get what you pay for. Do not try and save a nickel to lose a dollar. That's exactly what you're doing with these cheap systems. Just think, "What's my time worth?" Medios took care of everything we needed at an exceptional price.

The customization was really key with my practice. My notes are quick and thorough. I have tried to make notes that work for me in other systems, and it just didn't work. Medios has that extra adaptability that makes it stand out from the others I've used. I work faster with Medios than I ever did with paper.
Generally speaking, I've been happy overall with this product and do not feel it deserves any poor comments at this time.
Some software may look alike, but they are not all equal. Pay attention to the details, get things in writing, and do your homework. That's what I did, and that's how I ended up with Medios.

Quality Product and People. Their EHR has a lot of great features I haven't seen with other systems. Now, after using the system for 12 months, I can say all of these features work and work well. The system is really easy, but it's not too simplistic. We run our two-physician practice with no issues. It's greatly improved my quality of life.

Make sure the demo you're watching is in the actual EHR. Whatever you're told in sales, make sure you have it in writing. Remember the contract is a legally binding agreement; if a company won't put something in writing, it is for a reason and you should walk away. I had a few unique concerns about EHRs in general. Medios addressed all my concerns in writing on the contract, making me feel very comfortable. That's just the type of people they are. They always go one step further than needed. I really like how the system is easy to use. Once you start using Medios, it just really makes sense. Very little training is needed to understand this system. Within about an hour of using it I felt like a pro. I was also very pleased that the staff at IOS customized the templates for me. I just had to tell them what I wanted, and they did the work.
I've been with Medios a little over a year, and I really don't feel like there are any areas that need major improvement.
I would really recommend checking Medios out. They have a personalized approach and teaching style that's just so incredibly effective at getting practices up and running. Never once did I feel rushed or left dissatisfied during the implementation process.

As a new practice, we were going through so many EHR demonstrations trying to find one that suited our practice the best. After my first demonstration with Medios, I realized how great the presentation and functionality of the system is. I was very impressed at first, and my interest only rose when I was able to use all the tools myself.
I haven't run into any problems. They started out great, and they've stayed great.
Trust me when I tell you finding the right EHR is not easy. I probably evaluated 6 EHR's and it was tiring. After a while all of them start to seem the same, but when I did a demo, I realized Medios has the perfect balance between appearance and functionality.

I am a cardiologist and have my practice located in a large hospital in Miami. The thing I like best about this product is how simple it is. I have all of the bells and whistles available but still have no trouble with using my EMR. Every time one of my colleagues sees me using this software, they tell me how beautiful it is and how much better my progress notes are than any other specialist in the area. Many times, these friends of mine ask me for the name of my sales rep at IOS because they want to sign up!
It is hard to say what I like least. I have been using this software for almost 5 years and have had very little issues. I use it on a Mac at home and an iPad when I'm seeing patients in my office or doing rounds at the hospital. Every time I have requested for something from this company, they have provided it to me so I am left with little to complain about.
I would ask to see if the sales rep will let you test it out on your own so you can get a feel for how to use the software- even if you do it with the sales rep on the phone.
