Odoo CRM is a cloud-based open source customer relationship management (CRM) system designed for companies of all sizes. Its suite of applications includes lead management, sales automation, marketing campaign management and business reporting features.

The lead management feature can be used by sales divisions to define criteria for assigning leads. Using these criteria, sales divisions can select most appropriate and available sales representative for leads to improve the quality of sales. Odoo CRM also features marketing campaign management that help users design marketing campaigns for lead generation and brand promotional activities.

The system features reports and a dashboard to monitor contacts and activities so organizations can make informed decisions regarding lead generation, sales and marketing procedures.

The software offers social media integration that helps users generate leads from social media sites, such as Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter.

The Odoo CRM is a very user friendly application. Even a beginner can use the software without any training.

Cons

Since Odoo CRM is competing with giant players like SAP, integration though easy, is a bit tricky and might be costly. It is best that you get a full suite of ERP instead of integrating it with others.

Full featured and cost effective for a small to medium business with features only a large business may have a need for.

Pros

Hosting the software can save hundreds provided you have the hardware already available. Once installed the wizards take you through the set up step by step. Many features are available for most departments of a business.

Cons

Some features are only available when purchasing the enterprise version which are free with other software packages, barcodes for example.

Oodo is a great CRM but in particular I do not think it is expensive for me

Pros

Oodo CRM is modular and you can choose the most appropriate needs of your company, you can access through the cell phone, and you can start from the simplest, so as your company begins to grow

Cons

The learning curve of Oodo CRM is a bit complicated and also when it comes to integrating the services you need, as well as users this is more expensive than you thought

My experience with Odoo have been great. The CRM system is easy to use and powerful to integrate with other platform necessary from the business. Also is really helpful to understand and build a better sales funnel.

I will definitely recommend to anyone with a startup to use Odoo CRM. The platform is really easy to use as SalesForce or Hubspot, however, the feasibility that has to integrate with other Odoo tools make it a great selection for a startup that will be growing in the time and will need to expand to other features like HR, project management, etc.

Pros

Ease of integration with other tools from Odoo.
Open source.
User-friendly, nice platform and easy to use.

Cons

When you need to upgrade and integration with other platforms the cost tends to be high. I'm not sure if in the end will be more expensive than other platforms.

They took our money and stopped talking, enough said.

Pros

Was easy enough for our sales team to use, we involved our technical team to get this setup and assist with integrations, however, we were unable to finish this.

Cons

They stopped talking to us after we paid for integration, we had to spend months trying to get them to communicate back to us and had to ultimately request a refund (which also took a long time).

I would recommend this product for standard businesses. If you're in a specialty niche you'll find the run of the mill features fairly bland and uncustomizable.

Pros

Odoo is a FULLY Functional CRM. Its gigantic bundle of associated plugins/modules allows for complete customization of the software according to the platform or needs you may have entailed for it.

Cons

Again, the giant bundle of plugins / modules makes the overall product somewhat tricky from an admin end, "do I really need this"? and "will I benefit from having this"? are really plaguing questions when setting this product up from and IT perspective.

I've been using Odoo since it was labeled TinyERP, then OpenERP. It has many great features such as:
- Numerous modules that cover uncountable needs
- Customizability
- Featurefulness
- Easy to connect front end with the ERP/CRM

Cons

Even though it's a very featureful product, it comes with some challenging issues, such as:
- It's hard to migrate data from version to version, usually require manual mapping
- Some versions are challenging to install
- Front-end designer isn't very flexible and produces not very modern looks

Bugs! I have had very few bugs though. There have been a few now and then, but these get resolved quickly.

It's really easy integrate Odoo with other systems via API.

In this case, i got a customer who needed realtime updates for sales via call center.

Odoo allowed me to update it via our call center system and when an agent closed a sale, it was registered in the CRM with all the data from the call center system database.

Cons

I really want to see Odoo to configure repositories for the major Linux distributions (CentOS, Debian, OpenSUSE) to ease the installation procedure.

We switched from Hubspot to Odoo CRM. The main reason is for connectivity to our manufacturing operations. Just being able to tie leads, to quotes, to sales, to manufacturing orders, to product support/helpdesk activities...well, there is nothing like it. Clean, easy to use, customizable however needed, affordable, scaleable. Version 11 is what we are using and the new user interface is great and easy to use. Our employees have learned it very fast.

Cons

My only complaint is that I didn't find them sooner. Seriously...it's that good. They have come a long way from OpenERP years ago to where they are today. The demo is free, so give it a shot!

Ease to making calls send text messages electronically sign documents email and much more from a single module. The integration of apps like Astrix opens a new opportunities for industries who depend on inbound and outbound calls on a daily basis. It’s extremely easy to use and highly recommended.

The pros are that there are all sorts of modules that you can add into your interface to get the business experience you are looking for. IT is also very customizable.

Cons

The con is their sales model and support team. They try to coax people to live in their cloud, but when you do so, they nickle and dime you for anything it is worth whenever you need customization.

Integrated view on my customers, purchases, invoices, projects, timesheets, events, mass mailing, accounting, calendar and eSignatures on contracts.

Pros

For almost 90% of the cases the systems provide standard features that do the job. The remaining 10% can be done by custom development without breaking the standard code. The system is easily configurable and without being an IT'er you can setup your own business processes. As for the installation I recommend to have a system engineer at hand. The user interface is easy to understand and helps you to organise your day-to-day activities with defaults settings and favorite views.

Cons

Can't mention anything, but if I have too, It would be great to have some extra free Website Themes in the community and Enterprise version. Only in the saas version you have some choice.
