After being a client of iCIMS for nearly 3 years now, I have learned that their customer service is TOP NOTCH. If I have an issue, it will get answered over the phone immediately, or via email within 5-30 minutes. Further, they'll take you through things you don't know how to utilize. Last, because iCIMS stays on top of the latest trends in talent acquisition, I'm always kept up-to-date on the latest industry strategies.
I would unreservedly recommend iCIMS to any prospective client. It's clean, easy to use, has just as many tools as others without being cluttered with things you'll never use, and provides a customer service element that is unmatched. I've given them 5 stars on all categories, because I am not aware of an ATS that provides a better product/service for our firm's needs.
Before iCIMS we were tracking everything with SharePoint and spreadsheets. This was a very cumbersome task to say the least. iCIMS has allowed us to free up more time for other activities, and that allows for us to provide better service to our internal and external customers.
We are still learning all of the ins/outs of the system but we have been pleased with the service that we have been provided from the initial start of the implementation to the current support that we receive from the customer service department. They are very responsive and will spend as much time as they need to make sure your problem is resolved.
The implementation went smoothly and was fast because we didn't have a ton of data from other resources to bring into the system. The start up team was easy to work with.
iCIMS is fairly easy to use, but in an effort to 'avoid clutter' they sometimes hide features in awkward places. Skills I'd like together on a single page are sometimes scattered about.
Their help desk and esp email support are GREAT! Quick to respond, good clear answers, happy to assist with modifications, and an understanding of how a feature works. Very helpful. Sadly, their knowledge base that they shout loudly as the greatest support tool ever actually has very little data for skilled users. It seems to be mostly the help screens put into a slightly different format for beginners.
The big gaping hole in the product is that it doesn't have email integration. So, if I want to ask a candidate a question, I do that out of iCIMS. When the candidate responds, it comes only to my outlook; also it does not go into his/her record inside iCIMS. The result? I have an intern, who's job 10 hours per week is to, update the candidate's records. We know not everything gets there and certainly not in a timely manner.
They use a ticket tracker system to handle their customer service tickets, so they know how important this kind of functionality is, and hopefully they are looking at it to figure out how to merge it into their own product ASAP. We have nearly left iCIMS on three occasions to go to another product that has this functionality built in, but luckily we are too busy hiring to spend time researching a platform change.
The integration with our existing applications as well as companies like LinkedIn make it a great investment. I suspect the ease of use has resulted in our sizable increase in employee referrals as well.
Our implementation was less than ninety days and well ahead of schedule. The training was spot on and we have had little difficulty since. I would not hesitate to recommend this solution to anyone.
We previously used Excel as our database and it worked okay, but we did not have a copy of the resume to keep with it for future reference. iCIMS helps tremendously to keep all of our application forms in one location to forward to candidates and to keep multiple job openings in one location when scheduling interviews for multiple managers and positions. We have been a user of iCIMS for about 5 years now and I am pleased with the ease of use and quality. The customer service support has a quick turnaround and is usually able to resolve any issues within a 24 hr period. I would definitely recommend iCIMS to other human resource professionals.

iCIMS was the easy choice to solve all our problems. Our implementation of iCIMS just wrapped up, and it was great. Our Project Manager, Karen, did a great job tailoring the process and timeline to my needs, she did a ton of work that I needed help with, and she got us up an running before our expected go live date. Not only did she do a great job, she made me and my department look awesome to the company as a whole.
I have been live with iCIMS for about a month. So far I have had zero resumes make it into the system that were not tagged with a source. I have had 15 referrals come in from the share and socialize buttons. I have had great results from the social product add-ons as well, 10 applicants via facebook and twitter. I have also sped up the process of getting a requisition approved by nearly 2 days time while saving myself the time of filling out requisitions for our hiring managers. We are also using the onboarding portal, which has lead to a much higher degree of accuracy regarding paperwork PRIOR to start date. The onboarding portal allows our entire HR team to view what is complete or still needed so come day one the candidates are ready to go.
We are actually moving on to further integration of iCIMS to automate more and more of our processes. I can't wait to have our data in one place, feeding our HRIS automatically, with visibility to those with proper permissions. Based on the current results the cost and time savings are going to be immense.
