Identified Recruit by Workday is a cloud-based recruiting solution designed for midsize and large sized companies. It offers candidate messaging, social media data and screening functionalities within a suite.

Identified Recruit offers with a pool of candidate data sourced from social media profiles. The product also features keyword search, which allows users to pull the list of prospects based on their current organization, designation, skill set and location. Once a candidate is found, the recruiter can qualify them and add them to the messaging queue. After the list of prospects is completed, users run campaigns from within the system.

Cons

I believe this product is missing a lot of features that employees are looking for. It would be nice to have clear indications of where you might find things, and include more of the thigns employees look for on a daily basis.

Pros

The simplicity and user-friendliness of the software is a real delight. The design and layout are so clean, making it easy to navigate through the features and options. It's a pleasure to use.

Cons

From my experience, there are not any major cons with Workday. However, I will say that the price might be a barrier for smaller organizations.

Pros

It is clean and user friendly, the interface is not busy with too many things. It has everything you need in one place!

Cons

There are some things they haven't rolled out yet but I know they will have it on the roadmap soon. If they do have something but you haven't turned it on, they are very helpful in rolling things out.

I like the way it tracks PTO. You can put in any date and it accounts for how much time you have requested and how much you will accrue in the future to help you manage your PTO.

Cons

Sometimes it take a few extra steps then should be needed to review an item or topic. You have to click into an item and then click into it again before it pulls up the information you need.

I love love love the WorkDay app. I use it to clock in and out everyday, as well as submit my weekly time card. It is easy and clear to use. Being able to look up my payslips by date, download and export them is especially helpful. It's also super easy to request and track your time off and sick time.

Cons

There are certain things that are only available to managers. For example, if time has already been submitted, you as an employee can not go in and adjust that time. This is especially frustrating when you just need to correct a simple mistake (you entered check in time as "PM" rather than "AM").

The best part about this software is its interface. It is easy to use and and the navigation is simple and straight forward.
All around I say because it is the only app you will need for various HR tasks, like leaves, merits, history, personal information and pay slips. I also appreciate the feature where the employee will be able to see how he/ she is rooted in the organization through the org.chart.

Cons

I dont like about the app is that sometimes it does not work outside the office network but sometimes it does. Verification also takes a little of your time. Probably if some information has a lot of tabs or information it would be nice if the tabs would be laid out beautifilly.

More 'human factors' analysis & efforts would definitely help the User Interface experience!

Pros

It does attempt to bring a wide variety of HR-related functions into one interface, but that in itself can make it more daunting to end-users.

Cons

Its screen layouts and navigation can be confusing or frustrating, not being able to go 'Back' without having to re-expand the various collapsed component listings. Also, functionality is sometimes obscured behind icons vs. visible/readable menus.

The layout is engaging and user-friendly. It has a nice, modern and friendly feel to it. Filling in long forms can be a pain though because every time you click on a section it unlocks it for editing (even when you didn't mean to) and then you have to wait for it to save and re-lock that section when you move to another part of the screen.

Cons

Sometimes when a task is assigned, it is not always clear what is required to complete the task or what comes next after the task is completed. Also on some forms you don't realize until you click Submit that there were mandatory fields which needed to be filled in.

There is no perfect enterprise HR solution out that that I have found, but Workday is among a few that really can do it all for medium and larger organizations. Just be prepared for some headache and learning curve in the beginning phases.

Pros

The templates for task completion can be very useful. Once I had the dashboard fully configured, it was much easier to navigate and had a nice look and feel to the UI. It seems organized and works best when you have an organization with a dedicated HRIS person or team. It is fully end-to-end and has lots of features.

Cons

It can feel a bit overwhelming at times, especially in the beginning. It feels like there are many unnecessary "clicks," and it seems like it takes you in circles. The implementation was very rough, because there were so many questions and confusion all around. We could have done a better job with change management.

I like that it is user friendly. When I need to my payroll it is quick, easy and efficient. We used a different one before Payroll and I always had a hard time finding this information.

I feel like worday is a great program to use. Especially if you have a large business and you want to deliver a wealth of information to all of your employees at their convenience vs. a time you want to select. The platform can also allow for users to access it from their own home PC's so they can truly do what they need to on their own time. As an employee, I felt like that was a great feature.

Pros

I used workday benefits for over 7 years with a property management company that I worked for. Each year we would log into workday to view the current benefits available and choose which benefits worked best for our needs and our families, if any. IT was super easy to use. They would show you on workday side by side what benefits provided which coverages, and at what costs. You could even use a comparison to see which benefits were going to work best. It also showed all the different types of benefits the company offered such as medical, dental, 401k, LTD, STD, vision and what not. It was very clear what you were selecting and you had to double and triple confirm which benefits you selected. Also, once open enrollment was closed, there was a way, where if you had a qualifying life event, you could change your benefits. It was a very easy, straight forward program for us to use.

Cons

Sometimes while using the software, it would "hiccup" when switching between coverages and I would have to re log in and get to where I was. It was truly a mild issue which wasn't frustrating. This also my have had a LOT to do with the internet I was using and not the actual program itself...

The latest update had made this product visually better looking.
There are some nice ways to visually understand the organazationl chart.
The messages and reminders that arrive straight to the mailbox are also helpful.

Cons

The interface is confusing. Some things are accessible only via the inbox but I could not find them anywhere else. I am sure they are somewhere hiding. It is very difficult to find what you need.
Buttons completing tasks are all the way on the bottom of the screens aligned to left. Half the time I forget they are there and have no idea how to complete the task.
The app organisation does not make sense. And the user experience can be frustrating.
I had such negative experiences with Workday that if I need to do anything - I physically wolk into the HR office and ask for help.

Pros

Easy to use for writing performance review and well as for the employee. Automatically populates self-input from employee and prints performance review and input on one page.

Cons

Slight learning curve, but once you learn it, it is easy to use. Once reviews are submitted, you no longer have access. It would be great to get the review back once submitted without Manager approval.

Many of the items or boxes the user sees seem to be filled with somewhat useless information. It seems like there could be a better, more user friendly way to convey the information.
