TSheets Time Tracking & Scheduling Software


 

TSheets is a web-based time tracking software solution that helps owners and managers keep track of employees in real-time from their desk or on the go.

TSheets provides mobile time tracking for employees who either work remotely or change locations or jobs regularly. Employees use their own devices, such as smartphones, computers, mobile apps, text messages or land lines to clock in and out.

This system helps users set up overtime alerts for employees, which can help inform managers before expensive overtime starts. Alerts can be sent to employees, administrators or managers via text message, email or twitter.

TSheets offers labor expenses management with detailed and accurate reporting of all labor expenses, including PTO, overtime and regular time.

TSheets also provides customizable filters that help capture the exact timesheet information sorted by employee, project, date, group, job code and payroll period. Mobile apps are available for Android and iOS.

Sam M is amazing!

Today I had an issue with my payroll customers. Sam M was amazing and able to help me see quickly what the issue was. Although it wasn't obvious how the changes happened that needed to be fixed, he did research and found out what happened. Then it all made sense. He stuck with me to make sure that I was able to get my billable hours for the customers correct, and that I was able to get the hours into QBO for payroll processing. He was attentive and very supportive and it made my day! Thanks Sam M! You are the best!

Pros

Love that is works with QBO and that billable hours pull right into QBO. It makes running payroll and billing customers very easy.

Cons

Sometimes when there are updates in QBO and then updates in TSheets, you have to make sure to check that things done get out of whack.

I don't like that you have to be Admin to import information from tsheets into quickbooks. That makes it a little more difficult for us to implement.

Patience of Jesus. Stayed with me through thick and thin. Yes I watched the videos first but I needed more depth to develop my application/workaround.

Cons

Zero, Well, Denise talks kinda fast :) The product is great. If it would allow employees to enter expenses chargable to client so they go right into quickbooks billing line item that would be great.

Cons

- Sometimes changes are made to mobile apps without notifying on mobile. This confuses my crew, as they don't have access to desktop most of the time.

I like the simplicity and user friendly format, email and mobile notifications are great as I will be off site majority of the time, thus leaving some sort of responsibility for employees in the office.

Cons

Some sort of communication system integrated into Tsheets would be perfect and I believe many of your customers would agree, maybe perhaps a chat bar of whoever is logged in.

Pros

I like its compatibility to with QuickBooks and that it is very easy to work within the programs itself as well.

Cons

I have not found anything that I do not like about it yet. Well, it would be nice to track the time of a 1099 employee that is not set up in QuickBooks as hourly or salary for client billing purposes.

Our small business was trying out a few different time-keeping apps, and Tsheets by far outranks the rest. I can follow-up on each employees' time easily. Tsheets syncs the hours with Quickbooks for each payroll. I can export the hours by each job for my records. TSheets can send notifications and reminders to every employee to submit their time or clock-in/out.

Cons

I wish it could print out the timesheet reports directly from the "Project Reports." Or before exporting the csv file, I could choose which columns I would need for it.

organization and time savings are the two biggest benefits

Overall ease of use is phenomenal! its extremely convenient, my employees love it. the cloud access is probably my favorite feature. being able to add and edit job codes from the mobile app is great! theres just so many things i love about the software that i cant begin with a review and keep it under 1500 words. in short i like the: compatibility with xero, square and others, i like the functions it can provide with scheduling, job reports etc. the pto is simple and easy to understand which is great. The customer service is absolutely out of this world. i think that might actually be my favorite part of the software. i cant thank you guys enough for putting such an emphasis on that end of things! in todays day and age its a lost service and dealing with tsheets support is always pleasant, easy and fast! very very refreshing!!

Cons

the cons i have are, certain functions are a little hard to get the hang of, for instance the overtime calculator and job costs function, i wish there was a way to add expenses to each employee such as insurance, social security, medicare etc so i could have an itemized list of what each job actually costs and what percentage of it is fixed costs and what can be trimmed or cut out. The complexity and highly indepth nature could be considered a con or a pro its a double edged sword really, i love all of the functions but i feel as though i need to take a class just to understand all of the functions and how to properly use them to make tsheets as effective as it can possibly be. so the in depth nature is fantastic if i were to take the time to train myself or pay to train an employee but a bit of a con when i dont exactly have a ton of spare time to train myself and budgets are tight due to re investing into the company tools and etc. i realize calling that a con is a bit of a stretch because it should be figured into company budget for training/reinvesting but a simplified version could be good or step by step tutorials for each individual function would help so i can train myself on what immedeately is important vs training on the entire software on some stuff i may never need/use. hope that helps! your software is amazing! keep up the fantastic work!!

The sync with QuickBooks decreases the time I spend doing payroll. Having the app helps the employees who are on the road and allows us to keep better track of their location as well. The employees love that they can submit and keep track of their PTO and see their hours for the week. All around a very efficient program.

Pros

I love how functional TSheets is with QuickBooks. It's really limited the time I spend on payroll. TSheets also has customer service unlike any other. The employees are always friendly and knowledgeable, without being scripted and robotic. Having such a natural conversation makes needing to call not something I dread, but look forward to. I have never had much of a wait time either, which is rare for any customer service experience. When TSheets needed to connect to my computer, I loved that a profile came up of the representative that I was speaking to. It truly personalized the experience for me. Keep up the good work!

Cons

The set-up can sometimes take a little bit of navigating, but no more than learning any new program.

Tsheets seems to be a decent timesheet system to use that is mobile. I think the main item that is slowing us down as a company using Tsheets is the learning of how to setup the clients in tsheets and how to use the breaks.
