SmartHires is an inexpensive way to collect resumes and candidates.
SmartHires may be a great way to collect applicants for your jobs, but it also sends your applicants directly to your competitors by posting jobs by category on their site - so that similar jobs are posted together from different companies. Yes, your candidates will inevitably find and apply for competitor jobs on their own, but why help them with that? It just seems to defeat the purpose to post your jobs directly with your competitors.
SmartHires is really only good if you have a huge number of applicants and only need a way to collect their resumes. If you're fighting for good candidates though, don't sent them to SmartHires where they'll apply for your competitor as well.
