SmartHires Software

SmartHires is an all in one applicant tracking system (ATS), sourcing and onboarding tool for employers. It also serves as an interactive job board for jobseekers.

Employers can create open positions within SmartHires, and the job will be posted for registered jobseekers to view and apply for. Applications are stored in the system, and candidates’ progress can be tracked through the hiring funnel.

SmartHires partners with colleges and universities to communicate job opportunities to current students and recent grads. As such, the solution is ideal for companies of all sizes that are recruiting entry level employees for jobs across multiple industries, including health care, legal, manufacturing and engineering.

The system is entirely Web-based, and thus accessible on virtually all devices with an Internet connection. This allows recruiters and job seekers to access the system from anywhere, at any time.

SmartHires is an inexpensive way to collect resumes and candidates.

SmartHires may be a great way to collect applicants for your jobs, but it also sends your applicants directly to your competitors by posting jobs by category on their site - so that similar jobs are posted together from different companies. Yes, your candidates will inevitably find and apply for competitor jobs on their own, but why help them with that? It just seems to defeat the purpose to post your jobs directly with your competitors.

SmartHires is really only good if you have a huge number of applicants and only need a way to collect their resumes. If you're fighting for good candidates though, don't sent them to SmartHires where they'll apply for your competitor as well.
